Anybody home? - Sunflower Beach

Okay.. guess she'd have to try and be the tough one.
She ducked under so she could look at Guppie. Big blue eyes gazing at him, her? It? through the water as she opened her arms as if to say "it's alright". At least she could try.

She smiled and stroked the tentacle holding her.

"Tis okay, love."

Well, uhm, if it mimicked what she did...

She held her hands out towards Guppie.

Which meant she tried to gently take them with her own hands.

She watched with a small smile on her face. This was fascinating.

Hey, give the girl a break! She'd never dealt with this kind of creature before.

She took the tentacles and just kind of well, held them, offering the creature a smile as she tried to make it clear she was greeting it. In a friendly manner.

She chuckled.

"Aye, Guppie. She jus' be startled. I didna warn her tha' ye be huge."

She looked from the creature to Grace as if asking if everything was ok. Because she couldn't quite understand Guppy, though, at least she was pretty sure she wasn't going to get eaten. So there was progress to the communication!

She smiled.

"Dinna worry. He's a good boyo, an' will nay take ye down. He'll nay injure ye, he be verra friendly. An' gentle."

And seeing how ticklish the blond was, it worked as Teddy's hands moved to her stomach while she giggled. It was reflex.

She laughed and ran her fingers over the skin of the creature, lightly.

"Guppy, ye be a silly creature."

She looked over at Teddy.

"Think ye could visit wi' him? He needs friends."

"Uhm, eh, yeah? Though... I don't really speak... Guppy" but she could still splash around in the water with him if that worked.

She smiled.

"Can ye speak baby? Cause he makes his wishes known."

She nodded.
"Then we'll be okay. I'm pretty good at charades" Teddy smiled.

Which inevitably resulted in another giggle as she really was that ticklish.
