"And the rest of the hierarchy of needs ? You can take the guest house for your own if you want"

She frowned.

"You want me to live here, too?"

"Only if you want" he smiled

She shook her head.

"I'm trying to figure out what you want from me."

"I want you to be my ghoul." he said bluntly "To help with things I cannot do in the daytime. It's a symbiotic relationship."

She frowned.

"Sure, but that doesn't tell me anything. It's a theory, a concept. What is it that you want me to do?"

"For the moment? Whatever you personally need to do. Take your classes, study. Tell me what you need. Really, lead a normal life. I don't need you at my beck and call, or even to live here if you don't want to. If I need something from you, I will nearly always give you advance warning. But you need to learn about the supernatural, and vampiric society, so we should meet at least once a week. Eventually we will help you progress with your research. So for now, I don't need a lot."

She nodded as that sank in.

"Would such lessons be easier if I did live here?"

"It would be, but we can work around that if it makes you feel more comfortable."

She waved a hand.

"You have never seen dorm room."

He laughed at that "No, I have not. And you can tell your friends you got a job as a part time caretaker for the estate or something if you need."

She grinned.

"Or that I have found boyfriend. They keep asking about that."

That made him laugh. "yes, and you can make them wonder who he is,"

She smiled.

"That may or may not go well."

"I could always meet them "

Her brow rose.

"I do not think they would believe you as my boyfriend. You are in love with Raz0r."

"yes" he smiled happily at the the thought of razor "I am. Well, keep em guessing"

She frowned.

"You have another one who could be my mysterious boyfriend if the need comes up?"

"ask razor. Her ghoul Q is a good man and very clever."

She nodded. But she looked interested.

"Do you think he will like me?"

Ohhhh, dear.

"maybe. Jarvis ask Q to come here please"

She shook her head.

"I will speak with Raz0r presently."

"Jarvis sorry about that, please disregard."

He nodded "I was born in 1870 and went to sleep for a century in 1911. I love this technology"

She smiled.

"Is okay. I can't quite imagine that."

"takes some getting used to. Do you think you could teach me Russian?"
