Some days are bad - Cabin in the Swamp

She blinked up at him.

"Those are better?"

"That they are. Don't get scratchy and worn out if you take care of them. Better picture and sound too"

She nodded.

"We'll get them, then. Lots and lots."

And then the movie actually started, and her eyes were riveted to the tiny screen. They really needed a new TV.

He just smiled and held the little ghoul

By the end of the movie, she was asleep in his lap. While she might not remember the vision that led to how she had woken up, it had still taken a lot out of her. Poor thing.

He smiled, and gently carried her to his bed, and then climbed in with her to wait the arrival of dawn.

Her only movement was to get closer to him, wanting even in her sleep to touch as much of him as possible.

Chet pulled her close, and let the coming dawn take him
