A Night in the Life - Cabin in the Swamp

She looked up at the stars, happily staying right where she was.

"Love you."

"Love you too my sweet demented angel"

She giggled.

"I see us in the stars."

"Show me?"

She pointed up to a section of the stars that seemed to be twisting into each other. It really was just a clump of stars, no real definition, but that was where she was pointing.

"Right there. Together forever."

He turned and looked at the stars, before looking back down into her eyes with a fang revealing smile

She was still looking to the stars, apparently lost in them.

"Such a pretty picture."

"Light thousands and thousands years old. We are looking at the past laid out before us"

She looked to him.

"Yes. And the future in your eyes."

Chet ran his finger down her front and kissed her again. "You are my future, and our future is forever"

She shivered a little as his finger trailed down her skin.

"Bestest thing ever."

"Yes indeed love, yes indeed"

She reached up with a hand to play with his hair.

"So many years, so much time, all boiled down to a moment. Fate decides, and time unwinds, and only love lives on."

That made him smile as he teased her nipples and nuzzled in her hair.

"How did we come to love each other anyway? I mean the blood doesn't give you much choice at some level, but you could still hate me. I felt sorry for you to be honest. An abused and mistreated thing that had so much potential. I wanted to see you be the vibrant piece of fractured brilliance I knew was there. Somewhere along the line I started to love you for who and what you are."

She smiled and kissed him.

"We are two pieces of a two piece puzzle. Fate put us together, and now we have glue the pieces to the board, and we will never be separate."

"That's my little Bethy. I'm sorry you had to go so long until I came along though. So much pain and misery."

She kissed him gently.

"I would wait a hundred more years if it meant eternity with you."

"And now we have an eternity together"

She nodded.

"I love you, and I love life out here, and I don't ever want it to end."

"We'll always have a life together Bethy" he smiled

She snuggled in. Her mind was going fuzzy, but she was safe in his arms.
