I brought more ink - Michelle and Emily's Home

"When you least expect it" at least that was how it had been for her. Completely out of the blue in fact. Though no less welcomed. So very much welcomed.
"You never know, one night, you might find you've traveled half the globe only to fall for someone from your own country that you never would've met hadn't it been for fate having a funny sense of humor"

"I think that would be poetic, and very enjoyable indeed. But for me, that might mean a guido." she laughed a bit. "Man or woman, I just hope to be able to really share myself with someone, some day. Even if it is or is not lasting."

"I hope you find that someone" the smiling girl said. "It's a good feeling.." a better feeling that she could really describe in words.

She would just have to take the girl's word on it.

Michelle tilted her head, watching the woman work, again. She suddenly reverted back to her previous topic. "I think you should drive. Me driving for you, kind of takes away from some of the reward. You will get a huge rush out of it, I assure you." said with a bright grin. "When you put your foot down, and the power of the car turns you to liquid against your seat, and the world goes whipping by. Yeah... I think you might enjoy having that kind of force in your hands. I do... every time." she giggled.

"Sure then, why not" she giggled. "Been a while since I got to drive a speed monster. And I've been low on stunts since I came here. I haven't gone bungee jumping or skydiving or anything" she'd not been low on excitement though, but, she hadn't been anywhere near as crazy as she normally was. In fact, she'd been very very quiet, even by most people's standards.
Elevator and near death experience excluded.

"Do you know much about Lambos? If not, we can head out to to LaBelle. There is heaps of open straights, out there, and a decent amount of privacy to learn a little bit." she said, rather happily. "Once you get familiar with the car, if you wanna do some fancy stuff in it and think you can handle it.. by all means, we will see what she can do. I am told she does most of the work, staying under control, on her own. Lamborghini loaded her up with pretty much all the best features you can get for comfort, power, and control. But still... baby steps, for me." she giggled.

"Not all that used to Lambo's, let's face it, most wouldn't ever let me drive one" she grinned. "So open space sounds like a good idea" though for the moment, she still had a fair bit of work to be done. "Might have to do it next time though, depending on how long this takes. I'm suppose to drop by the workshop and finish up a project as well for a costumer" Teddy nodded towards her bag. "I don't like carrying around sapphires" save for the sapphire and diamond earrings she seemingly always wore.

Michelle grinned. "Needing a little bit or armed security?" She flexed... get it? Armed? She laughed at her corny joke, but made sure her lower torso stayed still for the girl's brush strokes. "Another night, sounds good. Any excuse, really, to spend some more time with you." she said, fondly.

The blond chuckled again.
"Funny" she snickered. "And thanks" Teddy looked up at her from where she was working on her leg. "I'm starting to think you're out to make me blush here" though she didn't sound like she minded, not one bit in fact.

She lightly shrugged, a coy smile upon her lips. "I am not out to make you do anything you dont want to do, Teddy. I really do like your company.. and as such, would enjoy any time you are willing to spend with me."

She had a soft look to her dark eyes. It really was heavy contrast to the aura she had about her at all times. Some might even find it suspicious. She wouldnt blame the girl, if she found it such. It was hard to make others believe that no matter what things seem to be, they are not as they appear or feel, when it came to her.

Teddy wasn't the judgmental type, not at all. She was generally always willing to give people a chance, and it was no different with Michelle. True, the blond found her Clan friggin' scary, but that didn't mean she could see the individual rather than the family as a whole.

"I think that's nice of you" she smiled, working her way slowly down her shin. "I'm always up for making new friends" and she sounded genuinely honest saying that.

"Good, because you have a new one." Michelle nodded, firmly. "For as long as it lasts..." she said grimly, then laughed about it.

Yes, laughed. What else was she going to do? Cry about it? Not this girl. She drew the line at crying. Might as well be light hearted.

"Tell me about Medwyn? What makes him the one?" yes.. she bounced back to a previous subject.. deal with it.

Better to be light hearted, be positive about things since, well, there wasn't much you could do to change what might happen anyways.

"Mm..." the blond suck on her lower lip for a moment. "He's kind, and caring, and a bit over protective, but I kinda like that" she said with a soft laughter. "He makes me smile, makes me feel safe when he holds me. He makes me feel like no one ever has and his laughter and his smile..." oh, the Lasombra might start cursing herself for making the caitiff turn on the soft sappy effect because she truly did become a love struck teenager whenever she talked about her lover. "I can't imagine a more beautiful thing than when he smiles and it's reflected in his eyes..."
Really, better stop her now or she might start really sounding like a tween.

In for the penny, in for the pound.

"That sounds very nice, indeed." she said, encouragingly. There was no dishonesty in her tone. It did sound nice. She glanced off to the wall in front of herself, thinking quietly for long moments. "I pray that nothing ever changes, in that, for you." It wasnt said in a manner that suggested 'enjoy it while it lasts'. It was said like a well wishing, after marriage. Genuine and smiling.

The brush found the blue ink, shades of green and blue coming to life as she brushed it over the Lasombra's skin.
"Thank you..." in fact, the blond had no doubts what so ever that it would last. Perhaps that was naive of her, but the simple truth was that should, Heaven forbid, Medwyn ever stop loving her? She'd still love him, because she'd given away her heart and had no intention of ever taking it back. She couldn't. It wasn't hers anymore.
"He's a good man. Much better than I deserve"

"Teddy... what did I say about talking like that?" MIchelle said rather sternly, suddenly. She was frowning... scowling, even. "I have tried to let it slide, tonight.. but please... stop dong that. You are more useful and important than likely half of anywho tho thinks they are anything worth discussing. I dont know if you are telling yourself this, to help keep a low profile... or if you genuinely believe this about yourself.. but stop, please. I dont want you to pretend to be anything more than what you feel you are, but please stop putting yourself down, verbally and aloud, at the very least."

Her tattoo'd arms folded over her chest. It really was kind of a motherly tone and stance.

The blond shook her head still smiling.
"Not putting myself down. I'm just honest" at least that was how she was looking at it. "I know what I can and can't do, most people don't got the insight to realize the truth about themselves but I do. I know what I am, I know what I'm not. And trust me when I say he is so much better than I deserve, but that I work every night to be worth him. To be worth all of this" you know, the whole immortality and Beast thing...
"I'm happy you know? With who I am. No need to think otherwise"

"You sound resolved to your self loathing. You should not be. Not knowing your family, does not make you weaker than others. It makes you stronger, because you hold no restrictions within yourself. Please... stop putting yourself down, or selling yourself short. You work miracles, that I have never seen before.. not could anyone else claim to be able to do, I think. They are fascinating, and make you unique and wonderful. Please... stop..."

She frowned down at the girl.

She shook her head with a lingering smile.
"If you say so" she wasn't in agreement with her on the self-loathing, but she wouldn't argue. She didn't like arguing and even less of such a silly thing. "Reaching for the stars hm?" Teddy looked up at her.

If Teddy did not see it as such, Michelle surely did. And she was not pleased with it.

But as Teddy looke dup to her and spoke, she lofted a brow. Confussed. "Reaching for the stars?" As if she had forgotten she had mentioned she did such, in her own personal quests.

"Wanting to be better, improve, to do something worthwhile" she smiled. "I'll consider it that" see? Positive side of it. Michelle saw something negative in the way Teddy spoke, the blond saw it as having room to improve and evolve.

"Reaching for the stars.. right. That does not mean that in your quest for self improvement, or the attempt to reach goals you have set for yourself, that you have to slander yourself. It is one thing to admit shortcomings and work on them, it is another to think you are unworthy of the things you have. Especially in this existence. Almost nothing is gained, without being earned. And I have no doubt, you have earned every bit of strength or happiness you have acquired."

A case of seeing the same thing from different angles there, but it didn't matter all that much. She knew a lot of people saw it as Michelle did and a part of her could understand what she meant. Even if she didn't agree.
"I try my best. It's all anyone can do" Teddy said. There was always room for self improvement though, that line of thought was kind of inherent to her Nature.

"I have a feeling you dont really TRY anything. I bet, you succeed at pretty much anything you do." she smiled warmly, finally, again.

She glanced down at her nearly completed legs, seeing that pretty much only her feet were left. A quick glance at the time on the wall, with a blink. Dear god, had so many hours really already passed by?

Her eyes turned back down to Teddy. "So.. a day.. a few days.. a week? When would you like to go driving?" spoken warmly.

"Would sometime next week be good?" she really had a tendency to forget about the time when she worked. "Then I can catch up with work in the meantime so I can take the evening off?" the blond said with a smile as she nicked her skin to blend her blood in the water before soaking the towel to wipe down her work and wash away the excess ink, leaving behind the imagery of Michelle's imagination.
