I brought more ink - Michelle and Emily's Home

"Ahhh but what is there to look forward to, if there is nothing to reflect on?" OHHHHH snap.

"Maybe I just think, too much..." she laughed softly, though the rest of her body was perfectly still. Even once the side of her upper torso was, there was still her legs left to do. They would likely be here for a while, tonight. Might as well chat her head off.

"I think it is important to dive into the unconsistancies.. the mysteries of the past, to better understand how to make the future better. Learning from mistakes.. taking the good from the bad. Things like that."

"I agree, like I said, learn from the past but move forward. I'm... heh" she shook her head with a low sigh. "I'm one of those things people would rather forget you know? I was one of the Nazi party's great visions... parents chosen for their genetic purity, me, suppose to be one of the prime examples of the master race... And i turn out a Caitiff. Kinda ironic that part. But the point is, some things are best to leave buried. You learn from them and then you leave them behind because no one wants or needs the reminder of it" reminders like her. "don't forget about the past, but don't dig it up just for the sake of digging it up. You know?"

WW2 kid indeed... through and through.

She watched the girl's face, as she spoke. Head tilted to the side. "I remember the war. I picked a side, back then.." she said quietly, then let it drop. Not fun memories.

"I guess we will have to agree to disagree on that, though. I think the best way to learn the truth, is to dig it up. Nothing excessive, just what is needed to answer questions." She smiled to the girl. "Do you like to drive?" And with that, the conversation steered in a different direction. At least, she tried to steer it off it's previous course.

Everyone picked a side in that war. Or well, close to everyone, Sweden didn't.

"Yeah" she said, going with the change in topic without hesitation, still working as if going by instinct the way the brush flowed. "I'm not as good as my best friend though. She's a Evel Knievel incarnate, I swear. But I can at least keep from crashing" ta-dah! That was a huge plus in her book.

"Oh? Who is this friend, of yours?" She seemed very interested to know the answer. "I Do alright, but honestly.. my car is extremely high performance, and I drive it like a grandma." she giggled. "I could use some lessons, if you and your friend are willing to entertain the notion. When we are done, here, Imma take youd down to the garage.. or rather... meet you there. Yeah. Meet you there, then let you drive it around. Kind of a small thank you, for the effort you are putting forth."

Big smile. She loved her car, and Teddy might be the first person other than herself to drive it, tonight.

"Cassiel Vella" came the answer as another round of ink was applied to the woman's skin, the vibrant colours almost enough to make the images look alive. "She's amazing behind the wheel of a car or on a bike. She's awesome on a bike" Teddy nodded. "I can ask her, if you want. I can't promise anything, she's been kinda busy lately, got a lot on her plate that's taking up a lot of her concentration"

"You sure you trust me with your car though? I mean, I usually drive motorcycles"

"I would love that. I am happy to meet up with her first, and just chit chat, if it might make things better or easier. But if she is busy, that is perfectly fine. I understand how that goes, completely. Well.. not as of late, but if things end up well.. I will be pretty busy too, setting up my woman's shelter and getting everything situated from home.

She grinned at Teddy. "If you are not confident with your ability to drive a car, I will be more than happy to do the driving myself. We can take it out to the highway, and I can show you what my girl can do on open and straight road."

"Oh, I'm not worry about my driving abilities, I'm more worried that you might be" she laughed, though only briefly, not wanting the vibrations to transplant to the brush strokes. "But, this first and this might take some time. Though if I don't have tie tonight, maybe we can do it some other time?" Teddy smiled, sounding as if the Lasombra would have forever to show her her car. After all, best to sound positive right?

"Sure, Teddy. I would like that." she smiled fondly, to the other woman. A soft nod of her head, and she fell silent for now. A tilt of her head, to have a sideways glance down at the extensive work being down upon her side.

She would work for a good while longer before finally getting to the part where she'd drip a bit of her blood into the bowl and wash the excess ink off the Lasombra's skin, leaving behind an image nothing short of a perfect visual of the woman's mental image.

"There" Teddy smiled looking over the image with a nod of her head, having finished all but her legs now.

Michelle smiled, and nodded. She reached down, turning her whip scarred back to Teddy for a moment to wrap the towl around herself again.

Once done, she winked to the woman."I will be right back." as she moved over to a dresser, and pulled forth a pair of shorts and simply t-shirt. Off to the bathroom within the room, she went, to quickly get dressed. THe legs didnt require access to anything other than legs, so she moved on along to get dressed appropriately.

The blond had no discerning scars, but the kind Michelle had? She'd seen those kind before...

Teddy nodded as she got up and moved to replace the water and bring in a new towel before going about prepping a new round of inks. All the time while quietly humming under her breath.

She was back out, soon enough, long bare legs exposed, and short denim shorts on. The were real short, and low hip cut. Black t-shirt covered her well, though. She happily stood back to her previous position, patiently waiting for the next and final round of art. Legs and feet.

"So what brought you out here? I dont remember if I caught that, in all of our conversations."

"Actually" she dipped the brush in the black ink first this time. "I'd just finished another tour with one of my exhibitions, and wanted to do something else. I had plans on finally checking off visiting all the States on my to-do list and figured this would be a good place to start. I'd get to see Cassiel again, and I thought maybe I'd stick around for a while, maybe find some inspiration to start work on my next exhibition"
The brush made a few light strokes across her skin before black was replaced with green.
"I haven't even started work on a new exhibition because I can't really phantom the idea of having to leave now. Not now that I've found a home, and actual home, and a man I love with every fiber of my being" oh and she was smiling when she said that, smiling from the heart it would seem.

"You speak of him often," she noted, eyes upon the work the other woman was performing. "I have known much love, especially these nights, but that kind... I have never partaken in. It must be nice, in order for it to seemingly consume most of your thoughts." she spoke softly. "Want to tell me about him?"

"You've probably met him you know?" the blond said without looking up as she continued to work, but she was still smiling warmly just at the thought of him. "Blond, blue eyed, tall German who mans the front desk at the Regency? He's the Prince's Childe, but he's under my Accounting" meaning he must've been recently embraced really.

"I see. Fresh meat, for the grinder that is kindred society." she chuckled. "Joking, sweetheart. He sounds lovely and fitting for you. The child of the Prince, under the accounting of his lover.. who is a Caitiff and Harpy. That is... different." to say the absolute fucking least. "But regardless of how different it may be, you seem happy, and that is all that matters." She smiled warmly to the other woman.

"It's very different...." no one was going to deny that, though for a moment she paused, the brush lingering just above the Lasombra's pale skin.
"He let himself be Embraced to be with me..." she said softly. "He was Jamie's ghoul up until early this year" yup, Jamie, not Prince Alexander.

Michelle lofted a brow. She looked like she wanted to say something, but she kept her mouth shut. She just lowered the brow and smiled, nodding. "You are a very lucky woman."

"You can say what's on your mind you know" she smiled without looking up. Maybe she'd heard the lofted eyebrow.

"No, Teddy. I think it best to leave any thoughts, to just being thoughts. Some things are not understood, and yet some things are understood more than they should be. Best to leave them as they are." she smiled and nodded. "What is important, is you found someone that makes you happy beyond measure. That is all that matters. The details.. not so important, honestly." She really needed to get her squeaky brow oiled. Damned thing was becoming audible, these days.

"If you say so. I always believed in honesty, whether that was good or bad" she said, still smiling. "I can think of at least half a dozen things that could easily be thought from what I just told you. But, I'm not gonna push, and I'm not expecting you to understand. But, now you know at least" she was a fairly open person after all.

"My honesty, could question things that should not be questioned. I am happy for your, and do not wish to let my mechanical thinking do anything that could dampen that happiness you feel, potentially."

SHe frowned, apologetically. "I respect you Teddy, I dont want to say anything that could be potentially hurtful.. especially if my thoughts are wrong. I hope you can understand that. I dont honestly want to understand whatever the reasons are, for the love you share and the circumstances that brought it all about or have happened in regards to it. I would just rather be happy for you."

"Political reasons, a chance to control me through him" she said simply. "I'm pretty sure if those are the kind of thoughts you're thinking you're not the only one. But it's all out and official, I made sure that no one could have anything to hold over me or throw in my face when I was made Harpy. It's public knowledge"

Another soft brush stroke and she dipped the brush in the crimson red colour.
"I'm glad you're happy for me, thank you. Because I know the truth and as long as I know it? Then I don't mind what others might think. I love him, he loves me... He's the missing part of my heart" the blond said with a soft, almost whistful smile.

Michelle simply nodded, to the last part she spoke. To be honest, the first part was not what she was thinking, at all. But it didnt matter.

"That sounds nice. I hope some day, I can have the same." though she was still perfectly aware, that day might never come.
