Cass put her head on Teddy's shoulder with a soft sigh, coming down from the giggles. "I'm the one that should be thanking you. You are what will make these rings special. It really is a special gift and I don't know how to thank you properly."

"I get to come to your wedding. That's thanks enough" she smiled, leaning gently against her in return.

"August or September," she smiled. "That's the time frame. Oh, and get this... Jamie found a green dress," she laughed. "I wonder why he caved... But I promised that I'd order both dresses and he'd have to come with for a bridal fashion show. You should come with me!"

"Only if you're sure I won't be in the way" she said, chewing on her lip with a smile. "I mean, Jamie's kind of like dealing with a dad when it comes to you" the blond chuckled. "I wouldn't wanna impose"

"Well... he kind of is dad... It took some time, but... I've caught myself calling him Dad," she smiled. "I like it, actually. He couldn't replace my real father, but he's done everything he could to raise me right in the months I've been with him. I love him that way, Teddy. And you definitely wouldn't be in the way. I need a girl's opinion. I need your opinion."

"He doesn't need to replace your dad you know? He can still be a father figure without doing that" Teddy smiled at her. "And I'd love to go. I probably won't ever get a chance like that again"

"Then I'll call you when the dress arrive for fitting," she smiled brightly.

"Yey!" she giggled. "Never gotten to help anyone pick out their wedding dress" and she probably wouldn't ever get to do so again. So she really really wanted to do this.

"Me neither," she chuckled. "My mother had mine already picked out. She'd kept it in a cedar chest and showed it to me when I turned 15. Really, it was... hideous..."

"that's... I'm sorry, but that's almost a bit creepy" the blond couldn't help but giggle. "And mother's should never be allowed to pick out their daughter's wedding dresses. Nevah evah"

"She picked it out when she was pregnant with her first child," she laughed. "1894. It wasn't actually all that uncommon. But, she was a little disappointed when my brother was born."

"1894... yeeah, I picture that being horribly outdated by the time she showed it to you" never mind that vintage could be cool, but come on. Some things was never cool or pretty in the first place.

"Well, considering it was 1916 before I came along? Let's just say the twenties put a giant hole in her dream wedding plans."

"No holes in this weeding plan though!" nu-uh. "And you'd look good in anything you picked out I'm sure. Heck, I've even looked for something to wear too, though I dunno if you guys are going with a dress code like, set colours or anything" because some people did, even if the blond would've just gone with whatever people wanted.

"I don't care what anyone wears. I just want you to be there," she said as she wrapped her arms around Teddy. "We've decided to have the reception somewhere... out of the view of the city. Alex says if we can't find something, he'd build waterfalls and gardens especially for us somewhere quiet..."

"Wow..." she blinked. "That's just wow"

"Too much?"

"No, just, he's got way too much money" the blond giggled. "Though at least this means he knows how to spend it right" she said with a grin, taking Cass' hands.

Cass squeezed her hands tight. "The money doesn't matter, though," she said softly.

"I know, but it's good that he knows they're only with what you get for them" Teddy nodded.

"He's pretty incredible," Cass sighed softly, the sigh of someone in love. "He's not without his faults, but... It makes him perfect."

"You admire people for their strengths, you love them for their flaws" simple as that really.

"That's so very true."

"You'll make a beautiful bride, Cassiel" Teddy smiled.

"But is it weird? Is it weird for kindred to marry?"
