Owwie.... (Medwyn) - Sunflower Beach

He laughed. "But I've always wanted to be a hero." Boys and their childhood dreams.

"Then I only got one question" she tilted her head to the side. "Cape or no cape?"

He gave her a look of mock-horror. "Good God, woman! Every superhero needs a cape!"

"Well, you can't fly as far as I know so you shouldn't be in danger of getting sucked into any jet engines. Soooo, cape it is" oh yes, she had plans now. Big plans. Cape plans.

He started to laugh, very quietly. "Good! Can't have a costume without a cape. It's just wrong."

The blond took a couple of steps back and tilted her head to the side, eyeing him from top to toe a few times as she chewed on her lip.
"Mmm... you'd probably look good in it too" she giggled.

He laughed. "Damn right, I would."

"Is it any wonder I love you? My own handsome geek" the blond laughed.

He laughed softly. "Is that good or bad? I'm not sure. It sounds a little like both."

"I think it's wonderful" she smiled with a light tilt of her head. "Takes a geek to know a geek" the blond added with a wink.

He laughed as he made his way toward the garden, toward where the gardening tools were kept. This... this was real work. Satisfying, even if it was mostly sand rather than dirt, and that they had to add fertilizer to the soil. He didn't care. It was still satisfying. "Okay, that's true. But some people would call my silly love of superheroes and general geekiness childish."

"Toymaker" she said simply. "I don't think I get to call anyone childish"

He laughed. "Sure, but you're making the toys, not playing with them."

"Did you ever meet Diego?" the laughing blond smiled at him. "Besides" she reached out to trace her hand up his chest and up the side of his neck. "I like it that you're a bit childish and geeky"

He grinned, leaning over to give her a kiss. "Yes, I've met Diego. And it's different when the toy is alive and wants to play with you. It's not like you're sitting there having a tea party with the inanimate object." He grinned, then kissed the tip of her nose. "I'm glad you're okay with my inner geek, though. It helps."

"I love your inner geek" came the smiling reply as she reached out to touch his cheek with gentle fingers that brushed across it when he pulled back again. Her eyes locked with his the entire time. "Besides" she eyed him again. "You'd make a decent Christoph Nord" Teddy winked. "Maverick was always one of my favourite X-Men"

He started to laugh, brushing a kiss over her fingertips as she caressed his lips. "I always wanted to be Xavier." Who wouldn't?

"Awesome mind powers are awesome" Teddy winked at him. "Though you'd have to deal with all the drama of the team" she giggled. "I could do without being leader personally"

He waved a hand. "I'm good at conflict resolution."

She waved her hand as well.
"These are not the droids you're looking for?" Teddy giggled.

He laughed. "Something like that. I figured I'd just kill them all with my mind powers and let God sort them out."

Teddy stuck her tongue out at him.
"No killing. We're planting! Creating" she grabbed his hands with a grin. "Daffodils"

He laughed, then gave her a mock-stern look. "Yes, but we all know, Teddy, that sometimes, to be a superhero, you have to kill some bad guys..."

"Hey, I like Maverick and Wolverine. Batman and Superman doesn't quite make it to my top list" the blond smiled at him, giving his hands another light tug.

He gave her a hurt look, like she had just killed his favorite puppy. "What? How can you not love Bruce...?" Clearly, Batman was a favorite.
