Owwie.... (Medwyn) - Sunflower Beach

He laughed. "Not like that, I don't!" He was already starting to stalk forward. Oh... this was going to be a game.

"Oh, you're right, you bite too" she laughed, her light steps picking up a bit more bounce as her eyes quickly darted around in search of well, possible escape routes.

He stalked just a little bit closer. "But you like it when I do..."

"Mmm... mmmaaaybe?" he knew she liked it, though at the moment? At the moment she had the distinct look of someone who was about to make a break for it. And, indeed she did, suddenly bolting right to try and run around the house by the looks of it.

Laughing, he gave chase. Not bothering to spend blood or anything of the sort to catch her, he was more than happy with a game of cat-and-mouse... or maybe tag?... for them to play. It kept her mind off of the Gangrel and his teeth. "Come here, then, so I can bite them for you!"

It was a welcome distraction, and just being able to kick back and be silly for a while wasn't only good for her. It was no doubt good for him too. It ought to be noted she was happy he didn't "cheat" with his speed since thens he would've been utterly without a chance. As it currently were though she was moving and trying to dodge and hide behind the roses bushes and other things as she came across them.
"Nu-uh. You'd probably bite hard just to get even for your aching nipples!"
Totally normal conversation that.

Of course it was normal. He was chasing her, at a lazy, loping pace, really. Laughing as he stalked her toward the bushes. "So what if I did?"

"I'd uhm..." oh, maybe she could make it up onto the vine covered wall! "I'd pout!" she exclaimed, knowing she could make it up the wall in a matter of two leaps but not so sure she could manage to do that before he got a hold of her.

Probably not... he was closing in quickly. He just grinned. "I'd make it up to you..."

She tried anyways, a couple of quick steps allowing her leverage to push off the ground and place her foot on the wall, hoping but not really thinking she'd have time to make the second leap. But, trying counted right?

He caught her by the ankle, pulling her down on top of him. Still laughing as he rolled with her in the sandy ground. "Gotcha!"

Second time in one night someone had done that to her, but this time? This time she was laughing as he caught her, putting up what was at best a playful fight. This time she didn't get hurt. This time she wouldn't have panicked had she been bitten.
"Unfair!" the blond laughed, squirming in his arms.

He laughed, rolling with her and writhing nearly as much as she was. "I don't remember playing fair being part of the rules!"

Her arms trapped between them, the best she could do was hold onto his shoulders as she ended up wrapping her legs around him with a giggle.
"Heeeeelp, Ed, Eddie, saaave meee?" yeah as if hah!

He started to roll her over the ground, on the sandy beach. He was laughing. "They can't save you! I am.... Batman" Said with all the dramatic flair he could muster.

Which just resulted in more giggling as she blond buried her nose in the corner of his neck and just hung on as best she could since fighting Batman was so out of the question.

He laughed, making mock-growling noises and nibbling lightly at her neck. Batman was, once again, victorious!!!

Victorious? Was he sure about that? She decided to test that theory even as that nibbling had her shivering briefly, her own lips finding his ear and tugging lightly at his earlobe with a soft whimper. It was enough to melt Medwyn, would it work now that he Batman!

Why yes. Yes, it did. With a little groan, he did just that -- melted a little -- his lips moving to find her throat and give her a few gentle kisses and nibbles there, too.

That felt good, perhaps even more so because he was gentle where as the fangs that had been in her neck less than an hour earlier had not been. In reaction to it, she slipped her arms around him, holding him tight as one hand closed gently in his hair. The blond simply holding onto him as a muffled whimper escaped her lips and brushed against his ear. Another shiver moving through her.
She was safe with him...
She couldn't ever thank him enough for that...

He could feel the change in her. She had gone from laughing and joyful to soft and whimpering. It wasn't necessarily a bad whimpering, but it was different than she had been moments before. He pulled his mouth away, enough to brush his lips against hers... but more importantly, so he could look into her eyes. "Teddy? Are you all right, love?"

She was smiling, though she was still softly trembling as she met his gaze and gave a barely noticeable nod of her head.
"Yes..." she whispered. "I am..." the blond said, a light tremble to her voice as she smiled a smile of relief. Relief that she was there with him, relief that she was safe, relief that she hadn't actually died....
"I was scared" Teddy swallowed, trying to get rid of that hard lump of feelings that she'd tried to ignore ever since the attack but which wouldn't go away until she'd allowed her feelings to flow freely. Because the tension needed relief one way or another. "Sorry, Medwyn, I was just so very scared..." the still softly smiling woman in his arms whispered as she sighed against his lips and closed her eyes.
"Thank you for keeping me safe..." for holding her, for being there for her. She just needed a moment for all the feelings to let go.

His arms around her were a comfort. Maybe not the best comfort, but it was what he could give her. One hand came up, brushing the hair away from her face. Leaning close, he rested his forehead against hers and brushed little kisses over her lips in between her words. "Oh, my love. I'm here, right here. I won't let anything happen to you, I promise."

"I know..." she whispered, the smile lingering even if she did shiver in his arms. Strong protective arms which embrace made a world of difference. "I'm safe with you. I'm always safe with you"
Teddy draw her breath, a deep breath to clear her mind before opening her eyes to gaze at him. One hand finding his cheek, brushing her thumb softly over his cheek as she smiled at him. Love, warmth, adoration and relief in that one same smile. "I don't know what I'd do without you. You're my Batman" she said with a soft chuckle.

He laughed softly, leaning his head toward the touch of her hand. Truly, he loved to feel her touching him. It showed, in the way he always seemed to seek her touch, or her kisses. One of which, he stole right now. "I really need a better car, then."
