"Why? Can he feel when its triggered?"

She shook her head.

"I don't ... think so? I really don't know." Her voice had lowered to a whisper. "But it makes no difference. I know."

He whispered in her ear. "You must understand. It has nothing to do with him. Not anymore. It is simply you, and whomever you allow the opportunity to do so. I will not touch it now, but I want you to come to understand this."

Clearly, this was a concept that she would be struggling with. She bit her lip, the words she spoke both whispered and muffled by the gesture.

"I ... the problem is that he made it about him. Whether I want it to be or not, it is about him." This was clearly not something she was having a good time with. She didn't struggle, and didn't pull away from him. But the emotional struggle was clear in both body language and the emotions that played over her face.

"I just want him ... to go away."

He caressed her cheek and neck again. "Can not an Elder of your clan assist you?"

She was still very uncomfortable, making no moves whatsoever to hide it.

"He is an Elder of my clan."

"And why can't another Elder of your Clan help you?"

She sighed.

"No reason to. They are of the philosophy that no one should do anything to trigger it in the first place."

He sighed. "Phillistines."

"I will help you however I can. In the meantime, shall i continue?"

She seemed to have calmed down. She took a deep breath, then nodded.

"Of course. Whenever you are ready."

His fingertips traced down her body. "You are beautiful my dear. I promise not to scar you permanently."

Oh, because that was comforting. She nodded.

"All right. I trust you."

That was ... that was ...

"Owwww," she said. She wasn't crying out, actually. It was more the release of a bit of tension because ... damn, that hurt. She felt a bit of her flesh pull away, which caused her to hiss out a breath.

(OOC: The barbs aren't THAT big. And certainly not too bad against Kindred flesh. )

The flogger came again. And again.

(OOC: They don't have to be big to hurt like a mofo)

It seemed like the woman had simply not been expecting it. After that first initial outburst, she seemed to have simply set her jaw. She had not lied. The woman was stubborn.

She pressed her lips together, her jaw clenched. And she made not one more peep.

She seemed to be confused. Utterly confused as to how she was supposed to react.

She moaned softly when he touched her, which was followed by a sharp hissing sound when the leather and metal connected with flesh again.

"Wait," she finally said, though it was more of a moan than anything. "Just a moment. Please?" she asked, clenching her jaw again immediately after.

He paused. "In return for?" his voice was soft and amused.

Oh, the difficult questions again.

She seemed to hang there for a moment, thinking.

"A question." She finally said. "Any question that you wish, and I will tell you absolute truth, nothing hidden, nothing tainted by either my clan, or Kindred ways."

"Questions require context. A secret." he countered, as the flogger lightly traced her skin. "Something precious and telling about you."
