She shook her head on a laugh, smiling at him.

"Of course not. But if they know I generally spend my days either on the boat or in my house and I'm not there ... especially if they have not been given the prior 'Oh, by the way, I'm going to stay at 'x' location tonight' warning, they're going to start asking questions. I suck at lying, and I wouldn't lie to them anyway - the people who would ask - but those questions would lead to more questions which would lead to complications."

She smiled again, shrugged a shoulder. "I would love to. I just think it's better that I don't."

He nodded slowly. "Very well."

His smile returned. "Your dress should be hanging up for us in the next room."

She smiled as she started toward the other room to retrieve the dress.

"If I have more planning, I could probably make it happen - spending the day here. I just wasn't expecting the invitation. I'm a Tremere, sweetie. I don't get invited to sleepovers very often." She winked, then went about looking for her dress.

"Besides, this is just incentive to have you invite me back over."

"I see. You'd like to do this again, soon?"

She looked thoughtful, then shrugged.

"I wouldn't mind. I quite enjoyed myself. I also understand if it's impractical. Would I like to? Most definitely. Am I going to be upset if it is an impossibility? No."

He quickly threw on some clothes. Not his normal attire, but then, they were on a schedule. "You think so little of your own wants and needs, m'lady."

She pulled the dress over her head, then looked at him curiously.

"What do you mean? I think of my own wants and desires plenty."

"Perhaps. But you don't make them a priority. You express desire, but also consideration for not being able to satisfy that desire."
