Calling the Shadows (Michelle) - Lowrey Manor

Michelle nearly sorted. "The weak will always fear, what they dont understand." A soft shake of her head. "I have already been called a Shadow Witch, and threatened, since arriving. It has turned into a sad joke, really. But... I knew some of what I was in for, when I choose to leave Genoa." Slight rolling shrug of her shoulders.

She nodded.

"I will call the Harpy as soon as we are done here, to set it right and have in announced that you are under my representation."

She allowed a gracious curtsey to be offered to the woman. "Thank you, Primogen Lowrey." spoken with an honest tone of gratitude.

She seemed curious, for a moment. "If I may ask, between you and I..." a serious look in her eye said she ment that. "How did you come across aquiring such, from my family? And... how potent are you, in it's use?"

For answer, right before her eyes, her form changed to that of shadows. It would have been terrifying to anyone else.

"This is as far as I have learned, and I learned it a very long time ago, from a very dear friend who has since passed into the Shadow's final embrace."

She nodded softly, in thought. Her lower lip slightly nibbled upon, for a moment. "I am sorry to hear of your friend. He took a great risk, teaching you such, but he must have trusted you very much." she nodded again. "I would like to trust you, as well, Primogen." she said, almost absently.

"How does it make you feel? Knowing that a touch of the Abyss resides within you? Do you feel it's cold biting at you, at times?"

She nods, and slips back to her normal form.

"I do. At times it bites at me. But I have kept it at bay, while welcoming it in."

"Good." She stated, with a smile.

"Kindred claim they don't understand, but deep down... they do, and that is what intimidates them the most. The truth... that they were born into darkness, and thus apart of the Abyss, since the moment of their creation." she shakes her head.

"It resides within us all.. beckoning us... our very nature, is a testiment to it's hunger. Some choose to deny that which they know to be true... others.. more enlightened individuals, such as yours... well... I will just say it is comforting to know that there is another within the domain, that may have a chance of understanding me and the way I am, and the things I do.. and will do." Oooo. That last part was kinda cryptic, and she gave a bright smile after she said it, to accent it further.

She was not speaking like the modern day Lasombra. The manner in which she said these things, was either a very educated kindred, or an old one.

She smiled.

"It is only in resisting that one loses one's self to the Shadows. I know this. And will love to learn more. If you are willing to teach me."

MIchelle hesitated... outright. She seemed to be thinking, thinking, thinking. Her head tilted to the side. Pondering. "I think we should see how our 'relationship' develops, Primogen Lowrey. I am rather deep withing the abyssal waters, and may yet dive even deeper. If you would like, I can speak with my sire, on the matter, and get her opinion. You must understand, that she may refuse me to teach you anything outside of what you already know. However, if you and I seem to work rather well together... she may just permit it."

She brushed hair away from her face. "But I know my sire. Even if she were to permit such to take place, she would want your absolute loyalty in the most certain of forms. Though to herself, or to me, I know not. The price would be steep, most likely.. yet if I can convince her... the rewards would be vast, for the both of us, I think." lip nibbled again. She wasnt nervous, just annoyed with her lack of certainty on the issue.

She nodded.

"Speak to your Sire. Then we will talk."

"I nearly forgot to mention. I have my ghouls, coming soon. I am sure they are outraged it has taken as long as it as. As well as my library, which I may need temporary housing for both, until a proper location for my shop is found." it was a statement, but a question lingered within it.

She nodded.

"You may all stay here. As long as you need to."

"Excellent." She beemed.

"Well, I think I should make an appearance within the Elysium. Appearances, and all that.. potentially interacting with those within the domain. Are there any questions you have for me? Or I can stay and talk with you, for longer, if you choose." She was happy to do either, and it showed in her smile.

She smiled.

"Go. I shall call the Harpy. And have rooms made up for you. How many shall we be expecting?"

"A man, a woman, and a rather large snake."

She nodded.

"Will the snake come with it's own enclosure?"

"No. I dont cage her, but she is rather well behaved. A bit lazy, honestly." she giggled a little bit.

She nodded.

"I will warn my staff."

"I will make sure their stay is a short one. I do not wish to disturb your servants. I will keep her contained to my quarters, until a location has been acquired, if you wish."

She shook her head.

"Just keep her in the house. It would not do for her to spook my horses."

"As you wish. She will give your horses no grief."

Another curtsey given, then she wrapped things up. "Thank you, again, for your hospitality. I look forward to what the future holds for us.. I promise to not let you down." She smiled brightly.

She smiled and bowed her head ever so slightly.

"You have my number, call if you need anything."

"I shall." Said with a bright smile. With that, she turned upon a heel and softly made her way back around the big white Lambo. Door raised, a final glance and smile offered to the Primogen, before the girl slipped into her car.
