"Is it one of those things that just takes practice and time to figure out on your own? I mean, is there blood involved?" She was interested, have no doubt. She was watching Teddy, studying her facial expression while questions popped up here and there in her head. "As far as the illusion, does it affect cameras, too?"

"It's a matter of will mostly, blood is needed in some cases aaaand I'm honestly not sure about the cameras thing" a thought which had her jutting her lower jaw for a moment and making an even weirder thinking face for a few moments. "I think it can in some instances when you've learned how to make them permanent, though hey, we can try that out some day can't we?" Teddy smiled. "And it is possible to get to a point where you've perfected the control of it well enough to minimalize the effort it takes to create the illusions in the first place" if your generation was good enough though honestly? Teddy wasn't necessarily aware of that. Hell the girl had no clue what her own generation was for crying out loud. She just knew it was doable at some point.

"You talk like this is something you've always had... You didn't... You didn't learn it from a Ravnos?"

Hey, it was fine. It's not like Cass knew how Caitiff really worked, either.

Teddy gave her shoulders a light shrug.
"No one ever taught me anything as far as disciplines are concerned which... which honestly give me the creeps sometimes when I think about it" specially given... well.. what she how to do.

Cass reached for Teddy and pulled the blonde toward her so she was half in her lap. Her arms wrapped around her shoulders, giving a light squeeze.

"Well, what do you want to learn from this Toreador? What's mine is yours," she smiled softly.

Hugs were good! So not as if she'd protest.
"Mm, you don't need to teach me anything you know? I don't even know what a Toreador is suppose to know beyond some emotional thing something err... Presence? I think it's called maybe? Really, you needn't teach me anything Cass. I just wanna help. I don't need anything in return" the blond smiled as she leaned her head back so she could look at her friend.

"Didn't you say that Estaban said he and the Toreador would speak for you?" She poked.

"Yeah? But what difference does that make?" she quirked an eyebrow.

"You've been accepted into two families as of late. And the least I can do is share with you some family trademarks. So, while you are gifting me, let me gift you. Presence, Celerity or Auspex-- take your pick. Besides! It will be fun," she smiled.

Two families... One that was well, official, business, but still. The other though? The other was heartfelt....
So, two families.

"I know Auspex" she smiled, holding up a finger as she chuckled. "Mm... I dunno. I uhm. Prrr-clll----presence?" really, giving the Caitiff a choice of one fun thing vs another? It ended in a question.

"Both can be used defensively, you know," well, she thought she was being helpful. Cass began running her fingers through Teddy's hair, gently playing with it.

"It just depends on what you think would be most useful to you. Presence can help with feeding, but Celerity? Well... You'd be able to keep up with me," she chuckled.

"Keep up with you?" she grinned, leaning against her when she ran her fingers through her hair. "All I'd have to do is flash you something pretty and watch you go into drool mode while I tip toe past you" the blond poked her tongue out at her and laughed again a a finger found the Rose's ribs with a poke.

"Oh, ho ho... That's a low thing to do," she laughed lightly and then rubbed the spot Teddy had poked her. "You know how much I love my shinies."

"Mhm" Teddy grinned, sitting half way up right again.
"Mmm Presence though" she nodded. "I think... I think that would be most useful"

"Consider it done, then," she smiled softly. "The moment you want to start learning, let me know? Though... um... We might want to make sure to be inside for the second level. Or maybe have a second person around-- Medwyn, obviously. It's not... it's not the most pleasant thing to demonstrate and learn."

The Caitiff gave a slight nod.
"Mmmmkay" seemingly particularly worried it would seem. After all, with Cass there to teach her, and possibly Medwyn? Not as if she had anything to worry about. "It's probably best to practice the illusions inside too. Just in case it goes super sparkly or whatnots"

"Fair point. Last thing we need is nosy neighbors, right? Because I know how you and I get," she laughed happily.

But the thought did make her brow raise. "And I'll make sure to bring Medwyn a special bottle of something. He may decide he needs it."

"You think so? Really? Think it'll get thaaaat bad?" who was she kidding, of course it would.

"We're both girls at heart, it can always get that bad," she grinned.

Yeah, yeah it could be. And Medwyn didn't know the half of it. At most he'd seen Teddy tipsy and in a good mood. Poor guy... poor poor guy.
"We got a guest room now" the blond smiled at her friend. "So if you end up staying late anytime, you can actually sleep over and not have to share a bed with us" Teddy smirked. "Because I don't mind sharing a bed with you. Buuuut, I'm not sharing a bed with you and my boyfriend at the same time. -That- would actually manage to make even me feel awkward"

"Sweetie, I don't blame you, not one bit. And, really, considering certain past things? I don't... I don't think it would be wise, anyway. So, I take no offense and appreciate the offer of the guest bedroom happily," she nodded.

"I've been thinking... thinking of buying a boat. But I don't think I could leave Jamie's house. I like it there."

Teddy, somehow managed to shuffle over so she was sitting shoulder to shoulder with the Toreador and leaned sideways to rest her head on her shoulder with a smile.
"It's a home" she said. "That's why you like it there" Teddy smiled. "Mmm, but after you get married. What then? You gonna get a place together or?"

"Oh... I don't know," she scrunched up her face in thought, scratched her head and then tapped a finger on her knee.

"I haven't thought that much ahead, I suppose..." Though, now that Teddy mentioned it, it was something to worry about inwardly. Outwardly, she seemed fine.

Seemed to Teddy though, it wasn't anything to really worry about anyways.
"You'll figure it out" she said. "I mean... look at us? I wasn't exactly expecting to be living with him. I'd kinda settled for maybe being able to have him over a couple of days a week if I was lucky" the blond smiled as she chewed on her lip again for a moment. "But this?"
Teddy drew a deep breath, held it for a moment and exhaled with a smiling sigh.
"I love this... I love the idea of getting to wake up next him every night. Go to sleep next to him every morning. I would've been happy with a few nights a week if that was all I could get, but.. this is better. This is just" the Caitiff bit her lip softly and simply ended up smiling because she didn't really have words that could fully describe it.
"So, we went with the flow. You just do the same and you'll figure out what's right for you"

"Oh yeah, we'll figure something out, I know," she smiled. "I'm just glad you both have something that doesn't just work but clicks."

Because truth be told, Cass wasn't sure how things would work out with herself. At all.

"We should go get you a china pattern," she chuckled.
