Roses and Sunflowers and Turtles (Cass, open) - Sunflower Beach

"Puppet theater?"

She took another sip, contemplating. Cass and her ideas. Did nothing ever stop her? Apparently not.

"You interested in maybe... actually doing a puppet theater at the hospital with me?"

"Ooh, oh I'd love to" as if she really had to ask. "You just give me the heads up and I'm there!" because once again, toymaker, of course she loved kids.
"We'd have to bring Diego though otherwise he might feel left out"

"I wouldn't want it any other way," she smiled brightly. "Speaking of which, where is he?"

Good question actually.
"I'm gonna guess he's with Medwyn" she smiled. "Diego seems to have taken a real liking to him" or well, more than just a real liking. The bear appeared as happy to hang with Medwyn as he did hanging with Teddy. "You know... the first time we well, I won't call it a date because it wasn't actually a date, but the first time we did anything together, Diego tried tying his shoe laces together. I don't think he wanted him to leave"

"I told him that Diego liked him," she smiled. "That bear is the reason I started wearing boots, you know."

"Hmm?"
Blink blink.

"Diego... he tried that with my shoes a couple of times over the years. Then again, I've also seen him try to eat butterflies..."

"Aaah, and yeeaah, wonder why he does that actually. Specially given that he doesn't have a mouth..." for which she was ever grateful seeing as he did such things as try and eat butterflies.

"Well... Maybe he isn't so much trying to eat them as he is trying to kiss them?? He doesn't try to eat RnR, does he?"

"I'm.... I'm not sure" she laughed, more at herself than anything else really. "I have no clue what those two do half the time. Some toymaker I am? I have no control what-so-ever" the toys just did whatever the Hell they pleased. "I had this Brujah guy visit the shop a little while back, McKay? Big cowboy type. So I showed him RnR as an example of what I do and the damn bug ran off with Diego running after him. Great advertising huh?"

"Oh, you met Jim McKay, huh? Nice guy, actually... I think. I'm pretty sure. Sings reeeeeeally well..." Really, really well by the look on her face.

"But, yes! I think it's great advertising. It shows what they can do out of the box, you know?"

"Yeah, because people love it when their orders run away and climb the curtains" okay so she kinda did but she was pretty sure most others did not.
"And he seemed nice yeah. Only talked briefly, he placed an order so gonna call him up once I've gone through a few more of the things already on my list and work out a design with him"

"Hey, the people who don't like that sort of thing? They're just fucking boring. It's that simple," she nudged Teddy with one of her sock covered toes.

Teddy giggled and gave her a happy nod.
"Yeah, you're right. Still doesn't make it all that good advertisement though since most people would at least like to know they can keep track of what they buy from me"

"The new owners will figure out how to keep track of their things," she shrugged. "The responsibility lies on them. They buy it, it leaves and it's theirs. I am sure that there can be a good balance between the toy or item and the people who have them. Harmony, in fact." She grinned.

"Harmony? Is that what we're calling it now?" the blond chuckled again. "I thought weird was the general consensous as far as my teddy bear went" she winked. "Most people think so anyways. A fair few just go with awesome and some, a few, like you and Medwyn just seem to embrace it" which she loved.

"Weird?! Who called Diego weird?! Seriously? I will go fuck someone's day UP!"

Nope, she wasn't kidding.

Maybe she wasn't kidding but it still had the blond doubling over in laughter.
"Oh God you should see the look on your face right there" she giggled as she rolled over onto her side, both hands wrapped around her mid section.

"Diego isn't just awesome, he's unique and loving... God dammit, who called him weird?!"

She broke out into a smile at Teddy's laughing, but her hands were on her hips.

"What? What did I do?"

"Angry angry Cassiel!" she exclaimed between the giggles which didn't sound like they were gonna stop anytime soon. "You look as scary as Diego does when he's trying to eat a butterfly!" aaand more giggles.

She tried to make an angry face, but... Well, the Toreador really wasn't all the intimidating. At all. She looked like a 16 year old having a temper tantrum, despite her true age before her embrace.

Which just made her giggle, because she knew damn right well what she looked like.

"I can't help it, Diego is my buddy!"

She made a kind of wheezing sound as she tried to regain her senses.
"Yes, yes he is" the blond laughed, wiping her eyes and trying not to smear her make up. "You're friends with a stuffed animal and a stray mutt of a vampire, sheesh Cassie"

"Could be worse," she grinned. "I could be in love with a werewolf."

"Cougar!" and the laughter started all over again, the blond actually rolling off the couch and landing on the floor between the couch and the coffee table.

Oh... well... heh, there was that. There Teddy went with that logic again.

She took a cushion off of the couch and lightly tossed it at her as she giggled.
