Moving in (open) - Sunflower Beach

He pouted at her. "Really? Nothing at all?"

He was cute when he did that but...

"Nothing at all if you throw your game... " she smiled, tilting her head gently to the side with a hint of that lingering smile. "Though if you win..."

He grinned. "I clearly need to give this some thought."

"clearly" she laughed, sliding her hands down his arms.

He laughed softly. "Anything else that we need to pick up for the house?"

"Uhm.." good question. "Handcuffs?" because she couldn't think of anything atm so she might as well say something silly.

He nudged one of his bags, down by his foot. "Already covered." Don't judge me!

She wasn't about to judge.... not one bit actually.
"No pink fluff on them, right?" it was a fair question.

He laughed. "I'm not a pink fuzz kind-of guy."

"Mmm..." she looked into his eyes for a few moments and then looked away with a soft chuckle and a smile, knowing the warmth to her cheek still lingered.
"I put up the curtains upstairs" yes, change of subject! "Want to see?"

He laughed. "Of course! ...As long as they're not blue-and-yellow polka dot." Because that's just a fashion nightmare.

"That would be much too Swedish" she laughed, taking his hand and starting to pull him up the stairs. "There's three sets even. Heavy black to keep the room dark, with white linen over that to lighten it up and red linen drapes over that again" so no fashion nightmare, though practical.

He was following her up the stairs, his hand in hers. "Oh, good. I was only a little bit worried about the sun."

She turned to poke her tongue out at him.
"I've tinted the windows dark too. Gimmi some credit here. I've managed to survive this long despite being the worst vampire in history"

He laughed. "Old habits. I'm very well-versed in making a house sun-proof." He had been a ghoul for quite a bit of time before this.

"Chances are you're better at it than me" he'd, after all, been a ghoul longer than she'd been a vampire.

She lead him to the bedroom and held the door open for him so he could step inside first.
The windows had been left open for now so the fresh night air, the scent of the ocean and the flowers just outside the window, could be let in, the room still a bit sparsely furnished though they would fix that, together. What she was really about about though? Was no doubt the iron wrought bed they'd picked out together, or kinda together at least, she'd made puppy eyes when she'd seen it.

"What do you think?" she asked, looking up at him. "Someplace we can call ours?" she truly hoped so at least.

He smiled, sliding his arm warmly around her waist. Standing in the doorway, he looked over the room. Sparse now, he had plans to fill it soon enough. Leaning over, he brushed his lips over hers. "I think it's perfect."

Her eyes drifted closed with a happy smile as her arms moved around him again, gentle fingers finding the back of his neck and his shoulders as she returned the touch of his lips with her own.
"Still feels a bit like a dream..." the blond whispered. "Having a real home... having you..."

He nodded with another laugh. "It is a bit surreal. I'm sure it'll sink in soon, though."

Teddy stole a light kiss from him and opened her eyes to smile as she brushed a hand across his cheek in a gesture of loving affection.
"Welcome home, love..."

He grinned, leaning his head to her hand as he met her eyes. "Thank you, my love. Welcome home."

To which she couldn't really do anything but grin as she hugged him tight and nuzzled against him with a happy little sound.
Their home.
She loved the sound of that.

He laughed as he looked around the room... "Going to need more furniture in here."

"Mmhm, and we can pick that out together?" Teddy smiled. "Ooor if you know something you'd really like in here, well, there's space, and this is as much yours as it's mine"

He shook his head. "I was thinking we could pick it out together."
