Sneaking In (Bella) - Bella's Castle

She growled.

"You know nothing of nobility. Nothing of magic. Nothing of me. But because he is mine, I will let this one go. And you and I will talk again later."

Mike smiles and nods his head to the girls. He follow Robert to another room.

"I'll be up in a little bit ok?"

Bella gave an exasperated sigh, her arms folded over her chest. She watched Clara closely, to see if she would actually follow.

She let the boys go, then turned to Bella. The anger was hidden, but the pointed ears remained.

"I am sorry."

She smiled a sweet, understanding smile. "I understand.. protective behaviour makes anyone a little crazy. I'm protective of Mike, and of Robert. Robert is protective of me. You are protective of Mike. He is protective of you. We have known Mike many years - Robert would never do anything to hurt him."

She nods.

"But that is not something I would know. So I make my power known. Now, shall we adjourn to the upstairs? And plan a shopping trip?"

She smiled brightly and nodded, heading back up the stairs. "Definitely. Tell me a little about yourself, Clara?"

She followed, not bothering to put the Glamour back up.

"I have been a whore for the Ringmaster for centuries. It is the life I know. But I do remember, as a girl, running through the woods of Italy."

"Oh, Italy!" She gushed, turning to smile. She continued backwards up the stairs. "So you're very old.."

She nods.

"I am, though I do not have the experience. I am not immortal, unless in an area like the Carnival."

Concern crossed her pretty green eyes, glancing up to the woman's face. "Wait, does that mean if you're out here..?"

She nodded.

"I'm already aging again. Eventually, I will die."

"Y-you can't.. can you be ghouled?"

She smiled sadly.

"That might kill me faster."

"But.. but Mike is completely enamored with you. It'll break his heart."

She nodded.

"I know. I have years left ahead of me. Years that I intend to live with him. Perhaps we will find a solution."

Bella's eyes widened, as if she were going to cry. No crimson appeared, however, not yet. "Well.. I'll help, if I can. If they can keep you young in there, someone out here must have that ability as well."

She reached out her hand to the woman.

"Do not worry. Everything will be fine."

Bella moved forward to give the other a gentle hug, "I hope so, you'll let me know if I can help in any way, right?"

She tensed at the hug, then wrapped her arms around the Malkavian gently.

"I will."

She smiled and nodded, then turned to continue up the stairs.

Upon arriving in her room, she continued through. This was the West Wing, a huge master bedroom that lead into a gigantic walk in closet. While the East Wing had four bedrooms and a guest bathroom, besides the master bedroom, the West Wing was completely taken over by one large closet. In it was girls and boys clothes, organized by genre going all the way back to 1920, in all shapes and sizes.

"Go ahead." She grinned.

She just stared.

"Oh, dear. I'm going to need help."

She gave Clara quick glance up and down, then disappeared into the rows of clothing. She emerged moments later, holding several articles of clothing. She handed over a pair of jeans and an off the shoulder sweater, a pencil skirt and a blouse, and an adorable sundress from the 1930's.

She smiled and stripped out of her clothes right there to try on the offers.

"Thanks."
