Sneaking In (Bella) - Bella's Castle

Mike carefully walks up the driveway up to the front door. He slowly and quietly opens the front door and makes his way to his room. Listening carefully for anyone who mite be home. He climbs the stairs and starts down the hallway.

"MIKE!" Bella's voice rang through the house as he began up the stairs, and her loud heels could easily be heard. "Don't you dare go up to your room without talking to me!"

Mike freezes like a statue when he hears his name called. He slowly turns in the direction of her voice.

"I wouldn't dream of doing that without talking to you first."

"Yes you would. You were going to." She ran up the stairs after him. Rather than moving aggressively against him she wrapped her arms around him, pulling him into a warm embrace. "You idiot, you stupid fool, you know what could have happened?"

Mike wraps his arms around her and closes his eyes.

"I'm sorry I worried you. I never meant to do that."

She slipped in the front door, looking for Mike.

Her head nuzzled up against his chin, her cheek rested against his chest. "You know I have to ding you for this, right..? You know that's my job. You know what the declaration was.."

Her head shot up as she heard someone enter, her gaze scanning the room, landing on the redhead in the ballroom under the stairs.

"Who're you..?"

She smiled warily.

"I am Clara."

Her smile was warm as she separated from the handsome man, moving towards the impossibly attractive woman. "Good evening.." She said gently as she made her way down the stairs. "I'm Bella."

She hesitated, drawing back from the woman, then stopped with a smile.

"You don't hurt."

Her head tilted a bit and she gave a gentle laugh. "Only if you hit me hard enough."

Knowing that's not what the other had meant, she gave a curious glance. "What do you mean, hurt..?"

She looked up to Mike.

"Is she safe?"

Mike walks down the stairs and over to Clara. He gives her a kiss and wraps his arm around her.

"Yes she is safe. Bella here is one of my best friends. She's also some what of a big sister to me in some ways."

She leaned into him, smiling.

"I am Sidhe. A Changeling."

Mike looks over to Bella and smiles.

"I rescued her from the carnival."

Her smile didn't change from its warm curve, though an undecided emotion passed through her pretty gaze quickly, before disappearing. "Will you be staying here?" She asked, her gaze on the other. The question was neither assuming nor opposing, simply curious.

She smiled.

"If it's not an imposition, I would not like to be far from Mike."

"What did you mean, hurt you..?" Her head tilted once more. "I don't mind you staying here.. I just want to make sure the other guest won't, either."

"Most of your kind are very banal. Very static. But you are less."

She glanced towards Mike, a brow raising. "Mike isn't a saint.."

She chuckled.

"But he is mine. He cannot hurt me."

Her eyes widened some. "If you own someone they can't hurt you? Can you teach me..? About your kind, I mean?"

Mike smiles big and try's to look at all innocent.

"Sorry I tried to sneak in but Chase told me you were very angry with me."

She glanced to Mike, a brow raising. "Mike. Really. When have I been very angry. Worried, frustrated I have to give you negative status. But not angry."

My shrugs his free shoulder.

"I understand you did warn me."
