Sneaking In (Bella) - Bella's Castle

"No, Mike. I warned the entirety of the Domain in a report. I forbade you, I begged you, I implored you. But you're selfish." She shrugged a little, strangely the statement hadn't been an accusing one. Simply a fact she believed to be true. "You always have been."

Mike's jaw drops. He raises a finger like he has a point to make. Then lowers it back down to his side.

"The only thing I have to say about that is. Like sire like childer."

She chuckles.

"I will teach you. In time. But I think I would like to get settled. And a more modern wardrobe that is not so...revealing."

She simply quirked a brow at Mike with a smirk, then smiled and nodded, offering a hand for Clara to take. "I have a few things that will fit you, and we can go shopping tomorrow."

She took the offered hand.

"Thank you, Bella."

A door opens upstairs and Robert comes out onto the landing above the ballroom. Looking down he stops, an unconscious breath catching in his throat. He frowns and starts down, "Mike!" He yells from the stairs taking them two at a time, his face mixture of frustration and relief.

As he reaches them he comes to a stop, "Where the hell have you been?!" He eyes the woman with him and his frown deepens. Too pretty. Dangerously pretty.

She stepped behind Mike with a squeak as Robert came down the stairs.

Mike looks to Clara.

"Go with Bella it will be alright I promise."

He turns to Robert.

"I've been busy."

She shook her head.

"Are you sure?"

Bella glanced to Robert, then Clara with a small, encouraging smile. "That's Robert.. he's my.. friend." She nodded and smiled.

Mike turns back to Clara with a soft smile.

"Yes everything will be fine. Now please go with Bella."

He turns back to Robert without a smile.

She nodded, then pulled Mike into a passionate kiss before stepping back and setting a look on Robert.

"Hurt him, and I hurt you."

Then she turned to head up the stairs.

Robert kept his gaze on Mike though occasionally his gaze flashed to the woman.

"You know Bella almost went in that place after you! Busy my ass, you selfish dumb fuck!"

She shot a glare Robert, before glancing warily to Clara. "We were all really, really worried... I'm sorry."

And....not moving up the stairs. Staying right here. Glaring at Robert.

"I can understand that. But this is not the way to show it."

"He won't hurt him, I promise you. They'll probably wind up in a hug."

Robert nodded, "Probably not, but its no less than he deserves. Now, who are you? Awfully protective already. What's he to you?"

Mike stands there looking right back at him.

"I'm sorry. I've already have had a long talk with my sire. I'm going to have one with Bella at some point. But you I don't need to talk too."

She glared.

"He is my knight. He is mine to protect."

She stepped closer to the man. And dropped the glamour that was holding her human disguise up. Before him stood angry Sidhe.

"So you will not touch him, nor yell at him for saving my life."

She gives a huff and glares in Robert's general direction.

Mike walks over to her and places a hand on her shoulder.

"Please let me handle this. Its part of my punishment. Its nothing I can't handle. Give me chance to deal with this my way?"

He turns back to Robert.

She snarled.

"Very well. But do not expect me to be happy if he touches you."

He laughed, uproariously, looking from Mike to the woman and back. "Knight? Knight? What does that mean? And since when does a knight need protection from his lady? Listen chica, if I wanted to hit him he wouldn't have seen it coming. So perhaps you can understand when i say this. His actions put Bella in danger, and as far as you're concerned I am her knight. So, how about you let us talk and you two can go chat it up, I want to know what was so damned important to him that he would risk everything to go in there."

He nods his head to Clara.

"Shall we take this conversation to another room?"

Robert nodded, "Sure." He glanced at the woman, "I won't touch him, so don't get your panties in a bunch."

He turned to lead off to a side room. "Come on Mike."
