She bites her lower lip, looking slightly worried.

"How can you be sure?"

"Because we will start small. Small, and tiny. Because let's face it. Who pays attention to the crazy Anarch Ventrue? And by the time things are going, well how can you take away what is already held? Where there is peace and strength, there is security if you know how to keep it."

She sighed.

"So seductive. No wonder there are people like you among the Anarchs."

He squeezed her tighter "Many hear the call of freedom, few accept the responsibility that comes with it though." he sighed as if thinking about those who had rejected him among those he called his own

"Those who wish to be free, who want to fight for it. But don't truly know what they're fighting for. I know. Even as I hear the siren song of freedom, I fight for the stability that comes from the Camarilla. Because for all it's flaws, it is that. It's stable. It's constant. And there's so much safety in that."

"The amount of safety you have is inverse to the amount of freedom you have though."

She caressed his face and kissed him.

"If you know how to play by the rules, you're as free as you want to be, my love. It's all in how you look at it."

He nuzzled her face while returning the kiss. "There is no freedom if one has to fear for their safety or life for simply saying the wrong words. The most powerful word in existence means nothing to the Camarilla. And that is 'I'. Because 'I' personifies the individual and all the authority and power that comes with the individual. Rather, 'I' is supplanted by the royal 'We' or just as evil, the collective whole, in either case subjugating the person and stripping them of some of their natural inherent power."

She smiled.

"I don't wish to argue. And this is not a discussion that will end in less than that. Our opinions differ, and that won't change. Not now. Probably not soon. And I do not wish to argue with you."

He stuck his tongue out at her. "You found a button dearest one"

She nods.

"I know. Now, why don't you tell me why you frown when talking of those who will not take responsibility."

"So imagine you are an Anarch. No Camarilla to tell you what to do, no rigid social order, nobody holding yourself in check except what you feel like doing. Now imagine how much of a society you can build on that if you don't give a damn? Two kinds of Anarchs I find in this world. Those who go out like roving gangs and do what they please, and those like me who understand that with great freedom comes responsibility and live by that. Add the blue blood, and it's a clash of character, yet we need each other to get by at all is the irony. "

She nodded.

"So I don't need to make a life a misery?"

"No " he laughed "You have to be strong enough to live responsibly without another telling you how to live. Sometimes that means working with others, sometimes it just means keeping out of other's ways."

She pouted.

"Yes, that would be the way of things everywhere. Is that why you now talk of moving?"

"No dearest one" he said while caressing her cheek "There are some important areas nobody is holding. What if the wolves take it for themselves for instance?"

She nuzzles his hand, eyes closed, face peaceful.

"So much open space."

"How much of it do you want to be yours? Ours? How many people do you wish to employ, children to feed, and the sick to have a chance to heal?"

"As many as I can. As many as will let me."

"Then we will begin soon my love. Secure the digital frontiers of Tallahassee and I will see to the physical ones. "

She smiled and turned with him, placing him under her on the couch. She stared down at him with love and adoration in her eyes.

"I am so glad that you were waiting for me. Even if you didn't know that you were."

He stared back up at her adoringly, matching the love that shone in her eyes. "Would you believe me if I told you I would have voluntarily gone under just to meet you if I had known?"

"Yes."

Putting her arms on either side of his head, she leaned down to kiss him, a deep and claiming kiss.

He moaned softly and lost himself in the passion of the moment

She chewed on his lips, then nibbled along his jaw lone and down his neck. Since she was faking human, he could feel her heart racing.
