So, late night girl scouts? Really? - Castle in the Sky

His expression as they pulled up outside the, well, the tree house, was one that of someone not quite believing what they were seeing. Then again, with everything else that had been happening lately, he really shouldn't be surprised should he? After all, this was more normal than the suddenly suicidal security guard at his apartment complex.

"So... this is headquarters then I take it?" the youth asked, turning to the girl next to him.

She nodded, "Mmhm.." Then scrambled out of the car. "Addison!!"

A mechanic click, before a large ramp began to lower slowly, guided by some sort of gears. "Do you wanna meet her?" She glanced back at Charlie, a small smile over her lips. "I'm sure she'll be glad to meet you.."

Yeah, he was sure she'd be delighted.
The youth touched a hand to his thigh as if to make sure the one blade he was currently carrying was still there. Of course it was, but he had reason to be paranoid didn't he?

"Sure, why not" he said, smiling reassuringly to the kid again as he got out and locked the door before following her. If anything, he wanted to find out what the heck was up...

She ran up the ramp, little shoes making hardly any noise as she scrambled to the top. She waited for Charlie to follow, then pushed open the door to the main building of the treehouse, holding it open for her new friend.

Her "new friend" who was weary to say the least, none the less followed her with a smile and a liquid step, even if his steel blue eyes kept an alert gaze on his surroundings.
"Thank you" Charlie said as he walked past her.

Sitting at a table in the room sat Addison, a practiced smile over her rose colored lips. "Good evening.." She offered gently, a graceful hand raising to motion him to sit in the chair across from her. "The child tells me you saved her life.. is this true?"

She'd already told her? Heh... news traveled quickly.
"I doubt I saved her. Though at least she didn't have to go with the police" he walked over and took a seat, keeping his eyes on the girl in front of him though not directly meeting her eyes as he crossed one slender leg over the other.
"So, want to fill me in on what's happening?"

She folded her hands primly in her lap, nodding slowly. "Of course, if you ask a specific question. In these times, in a world like earth, there is much happening."

"Alright, then the basics then; Who are you? Why the girl scouts? And should I be worried you're the reason I currently have two dead bodies and as swarm of policemen currently crawling around my home?" Charlie said calmly with a lingering polite smile to his lips as he tilted his head slightly to the side.

"My name is Addison, I am a Ventrue and a well-respected member of the Camarilla. We are testing markets, seeing how best to utilize their skills." She nodded once more, offering a rehearsed smile. "Why would I put dead bodies and policemen in your Home, when I have much more important things to do?"

A blue blood girl scout...

"Well, I don't know. A lot of things have been happening lately which reasons or motives keep eluding me" the youth said with that same polite tone of voice as before as he lifted a hand to brush a strand of hair from his face.
"So, Addison. Girl scouts? Really?"

"It's not my most lucrative option thus far, but I refuse to sink to pornography. I simply am attempting to find something to keep the girls goal-oriented and busy when they aren't studying. When they grow up, I wish for them to do great things."

"Right..." this whole thing still didn't quite sit right with him, but then again, did anything as of late?
"So while waiting for the kids to grow up and do great things, you're pushing cookies? Was it pure coincidence that brought me a visit or is there some kind of special clientele list I'm somehow on?"

"The girls are instructed to allow anyone who asks questions or displays interest in myself to visit me." She shrugged purposefully, her head tilting to the side. "I suppose you did."

"I suppose so. Or at the very least I didn't feel like handing over one of your girls to the police when she seemed even more frightened at the prospect of being taken away than she was at the sight of blood" Charlie shrugged casually.

"The police wouldn't let her come back to me, tell me how you would explain away a seven-year old watching a group of 20 girls."

The youth smirked.
"Not even I'd be able to lie my way around that one" he said. "Though it explains why I'm here. The girl wanted to go back home, so I took her back home"

Addison nodded, offering a calculated smile. "And I thank you, would you consider it a Minor inconvenience?"

"Considering I'll now get extra trouble with the police when they start asking about a little girl witness they won't be able to find?" he reached inside his jacket and pulled out a silver cigarette casing.

"You may borrow her to be a witness, or we can consider this a major inconvenience as I understand your perspective."

"We both know" he picked out a cigarette and placed it between his lips. "That if the police were to call her in as a witness, you'd have to provide her with a "family" in order to keep her, right? Though I'm inclined to think you've already taken into consideration, right?"
Charlie patted his pockets like he always did when looking for his lighter, fished it out of a jacket pocket but stoppe before actually lighting it.
"I'm sorry, do you mind?" he was obviously referring to him smoking.

"If it is what you desire, I would like to make you as comfortable as possible." She nodded to him once more. "And you are correct in thinking I have thought of that, I do have a backup family at my disposal, they simply cannot be seen living in this House."

"Good" he lit the cigarette and took a deep breath. "Then I'll consider it a Minor issue as long as you make good on your promise having her testify if needed be" the youth smiled politely at her.

"Of course, Prince Victoria Ash of New York has named me to be an Oathkeeper, so you may consider my word golden." She smiled again. "And what is your name?"

He eyed her for a moment, the youth's steel blue gaze perhaps judging her before he lifted a manicured hand to his lips to take the cigarette.
"Charlie Cusack, of the Brujah" he said after a moment with a light inclination of his head.
