As Mike wakes up he wraps his arms around Clara. He opens his eyes to look around the room.

Nothing has changed in the room. But she's cold to the touch, and sweaty. Her eyes are closed, and her breathing is ragged.

Mike looks worried.

"My love are you ok?"

All she can do is shake her head.

Mike pulls her close.

"My loving Clara. We need to get you out of here."

The only response was shivering. So much shivering. She really was not doing well at all.

Mike picks her up in his arms.

"Ok that's it. I'm getting us out of here.

She clings to him. Her only port in the storm.

"Sorry Sweetie I need to set you down for a moment to get the door opened."

Mike walks over to the door and tries to opens the door as quietly as he can. He grabs the lock and tries to force the lock open.

The lock cracks under his hand, but it makes a noise. Not silent.

Meanwhile, she whimpers when placed back on the ground.

Mike picks her up in his arms. Mike walks over to the door being careful not to let her touch the cage. He pushes the cage open with his foot and carefully steps through the door.

"Which way Clara?"

She pointed weakly off in the direction of a tunnel.

Mike starts heading down the tunnel.

"Just let me know when to turn. I will handle everything else."

He walked down the tunnel a ways, and she started to look better. Then, suddenly, they were surrounded by trees. Tall ones on all sides.

Mike looks at Clara.

"Good your looking better. Can you walk?"

She smiles and kisses him.

"Yes, but why don't we stay here? And rest? Just for a small bit?"

He nods and sets her down.

"Ok but we shouldn't stay long."

She pulls him to her. Her knight in shining armor. Wrapping herself around him and kissing him with all the passion of a damsel rescued.

He returns the kisses and holds her tight.

"My knight, love me. We are safe. Far away from the place where we were held."

There is need in her voice. Need, and desire.

Mike takes a deep breath and shakes his head.

"We're not out of the woods yet. I still need to get you somewhere safe."

She smiles.

"It is more we need to get you somewhere safe from the sun. But come. I will take you."

She rose and began padding through the woods, holing his hand.

Mike stand up and follows her.

"Do you know where I can find a phone? If I can get to one I can call my sire for help for us."

She shakes her head.

"Not before the sun rises, love. We are in the middle of nowhere in Italy. It was all I could think of to get us away."

Mike stops dead in his tracks.

"What? Did you say Italy?"
