Mike keeps up with her.

She leads him to a small cabin in the woods. One without windows. The door opens and she pulls him through.

"There, now we are safe."

It's a simple cabin, a small kitchen on one wall, a fireplace on the opposite, and a bed in the corner.

Mike enters the cabin. He walks over to the bed and sits down.

"Nice place you have here."

She follows him to the bed, straddling his legs and kissing him.

"We don't have enough time for words. I must reward my knight."

Mike smiles and returns the kisses and everything else to come.

The Dawn catches them just after climax. When he wakes the next night, she is dressed in a simple cotton dress, sitting in front of the fire, tending to a pot of soup.

Mike gets out of bed and stretches. He walks over to Clara and gives her a kiss on the cheek.

"How are you feeling?"

"Much better now that your not in pain."

Using her left hand she brushes her hair away from her neck.

"Take what you need."

Mike bites into her neck taking just what he needs. He hold her tight to him until he's done and licks the wound close.

Her knees buckle with the pleasure of it, and it takes all he has to hold her up as she moans in his ear. When he removes his fangs, she sighs and leans into him.

"Oh, my love. My knight."

Mike holds her in his arms.

"Do we have to call anyone? Can't we just stay here for another day or two?"

Mike looks at her.

"Do you think we will be safe for 2 days here?"

She smiles.

"Yea, we will be. Can you hold out that long? I can get us to civilization, but I want time to just be with you."

"Ok then. But in 2 days we should head out ok?"

And then she kissed him, hard and passionately.

He returns the kiss and holds her tightly once more before letting go. He walks over to a chair and takes a seat.

She sits at his feet, head in his lap.

"I'm so sorry to have dragged you into all this."

Mike smiles.

"It's all right I tend to do this to my self from time to time. My sire calls me a trouble maker. I call myself a hero. They both go hand in hand."

He places his hand on her cheek.

"For you I would have done far more than this."
