Once again, her eyes flew wide and she entered the room with slow, uncertain steps. "Chase?" She said, the confusion clear in her voice.

Mercedes approached and fell into his arms gratefully. "Are you upset? Mike told me you didn't want him here... I didn't know until we were here already... but I don't know why. This place seems nice." She seemed slightly distressed, worried that he would be angry with her.

A sigh of relief fell from her lips. Though she still seemed concerned, it wasn't anything like before. Nuzzling into his chest, she breathed in his scent. "Should we go, then?"

"But... is it OK to stay here?" She asked, looking up at him now and wondering what he would deem appropriate. After telling Mike not to come, after all.... she wanted to be certain.

She returned the kiss, pressing into him. He always made her feel so safe, so comforted. So long as he was here, she was sure everything would be fine.

She shivered, goose bumps running across her skin in anticipation. Giving a soft moan, her own hands began to roam his body. A thought crossed her mind, interrupting the moment for her. She pulled away from the embrace a little, just so she could see his face.
"Chase... Why did you come back from London? I wasn't expecting you for quite some time." Her words were soft to the one she believed her lover.

He smiled, holding her close.

"I missed you, my love."

"And I missed you. More than you could ever know." She said, touching the side of his face tenderly, "But Chase, you have no need to return to me before your business is done. You know that. I'll always be here waiting for you."

"What's that?" She asked curiously, certain of his implication but doubtful of her assumption giving the situation.

"It's only been a week." She giggled softly, nuzzling him affectionately.

She was caught off guard at first by his kiss, but returned it quickly with a smile. Pulling away again, she kissed from his neck to his collar bone, pausing to speak. "How did you know where to find me?"

Her kissed passed across his collar bone and back up the other side, nibbling sensually at his neck.
"I love you Chase... but it feels so weird to be doing this at a carnival."

Her breathing was heavy, a deep blush across her cheeks. "Well... yes." She agreed, continuing to kiss him, "But.... it just doesn't seem the place..."
