Called to a meeting (Raz0r) - Alterations While U Wait

That brought laughter. Lots of it. She leaned into his shoulder as she started to squeak.

"Some decorum, please, miss. You are in the presence of a revered Primogen, after all."

She managed to bring herself under control. Then leaned back until she could look him in the eyes again.

"Oh, Porter, my dear one, we are going to go far together."

"Your fearless confidence is inspiring, Raz0r. We barely know one another, really. Perhaps I'm completely untrustworthy? Or deviant? Every closet has room for a few skeletons."

She smirked.

"Nah. You're family. I'll trust you completely, forever. You'll have to do very bad things to break my trust."

He places a giant paw on her hip.

"Define bad."

She smiled.

"Betray the clan."

"No chance. Ever."

She leaned forward. Until there was a mere inch between them.

"Then I have nothing to worry about. Everything else doesn't matter."

"In the long run, I agree. But, my poppet - " Porter strokes her hair with his free hand. " - you have promises to keep, and intelligence to relay to the Prince."

A wide grin. "Do right. and be good. Then, later... we may be bad."

She grinned. Then blinked.

"Oh! Almost forgot. There's a douche wandering around town by the name of King Raven. Can you look into him?"

"Yes. Is that the extent of our dossier? A sophomoric name?"

She chuckled.

"Honestly? Pretty much. He's a jerk who runs around, might be the same guy he was years ago, is an Assassin type, but not an Assamite. We don't know much."

"Do we presume him to be acknowledged under any identity? Best to know my limits."

She smiled.

"His Majesty is letting his Scourge know that you are looking into him."

"Very well, then. I shall gather what intelligence I can. If the opportunity arises...I shall gather the assassin."

She smiled and kissed his nose.

"See? I knew I could count on you."

"Reliable as a megalith. And nearly as complex." Porter smiled and let go of Raz0r's hip, stepping back.

"And we're off to the races."

She hopped off the stool and grinned up at him.

"Meet you back here?"

"Til then each moment shall be a trembling flower clad in morning-frost, pining for sweet release with but a warm touch."

Porter bowed a bit, then gestured grandly to the door. "Apres vous."

She laughed again, a happy sound as she waltzed out the door.

"Oh, you can keep that up forever."

"In point of fact, I can." he stated, bemused, as he locked up.
