"The most effective, and easiest to achieve. Considering that most would have to pit their will against yours to be able to pull it off with even a remote chance, they have very, very little chance to actually get a good signal through. Your potency and your will are just too strong for most."

So I feel really weird just pushing this issue - am I missing something here or is he simply not telling her?

The thing with Dominate is that it works on a Generation comparison. Being that Ren is naturally a 6th Gen, only a 3rd, 4th or 5th Gen could dominate her to begin with. Potency of Blood allows you to drop your Generation, sooooo, in dropping Generation, the chances of someone being able to Dominate Ren becomes ... Caine ... and he can do it just because he's like ... the first Vampire and he just wins. But, that's about it.

I was looking for the more overall benefit of iron heart, I just didn't want to have her ask questions she wouldn't have known to ask in the first place.

I was looking for rules on ritual creation but couldn't find them. Does we have some?
