Ghosts, Demon, and (Jim) - The Den

He wrapped his arms around her as she hugged him. "For what?"

"For going along with this hairbrained scheme." looking up at him with a grin.

He laughed and kissed her gently. "I've done a lot worse for people far less pretty."

She kissed him back "Well I hope it's just a joke his friends played on him. But the thing said my name which he swears he didn't tell anyone he was taking me and I foolish didn't tell anyone where we were going too."

He held her and smiled at her, then kissed the top of her head. "We'll figure it out. Ya wantin' ta bring him along too, or leave him outta this trip?"

"Leave him out this trip. He'll see this as me trying to take his find, when I want to make sure it's not really as creepy as it seemed." a soft shudder "And then right afterwards the demon visit. So I guess I want to know they aren't related as well." resting her head for a moment on his chest, before reluctantly going to move with a laugh "Your pocket vibrated."

"It did?" He pulled out his phone and smiled. Then he looked at her. "An' what are we goin' t' do if it was as creepy as it seemed t' be?"

She starts giving the directions, checking her phone to see if he had sent the research links or not, and smiled at him. "No you should drive, I was a passenger on the ride there so I don't know quite how to drive there."

He nodded. "All right. Let's go get tha girlie an' we'll see about headin' out there."

"And picking up Alexandria, who's ghoul is she?" she's just curious he can tell.

He was walking toward his Jeep with one arm around her. "Tha Tremere. From what the Woman said, she doesn't belong ta anybody specific."

She nods and kisses him before she slides into the passenger seat.

The perfect gentleman, he held the door for her.

"I'll have to move to the back won't I?" with a teasing tone, but figuring that Alexandria was bigger than she is and the back seat wasn't going to cramp her like it would another.

He snorted. "Hell no. My girl stays with me."

"Ok ok. I was trying to be nice." shaking her head at him.

He smiled at her. "Ya ain't gotta be nice, darlin. Take what's yours an' all that."

"Well, I don't do the taking thing that well most of the time.' shaking her head back at him.

He grinned. "I know. That's why I'm teachin' ya to."

"That you are that you are." with a kiss "I'm getting better at it too."

He kissed her gently. "I know. It's why I keep teachin'."

SHe kisses him back "I know some day I'll be a better student" with a chuckle.

He grinned at her. "Ya actually listen ta me an' put an effort inta doin' what I tell ya to. That's worth teachin' right there."

"Oh and you owe me talking to the boys." with a playful grin at him.

He grinned. "That I do. Anytime ya wanna start on that, just let me know."
