"Or those of his fallen flock..." Greer says hushed as if something was listening.

Greer and Cass... Their minds think alike.

"Nothing worth having is easily gotten, but he makes it sound like he's necessary to reach the things one seeks. And he's not done that at all." barely above a whisper, slowly letting Cassie go and looking at Alex.

Cass sat, scooting back a little as her phone began buzzing with texts. Quickly began to answer them.

Greer let Cassie go, "I'll let you two talk - I'm going to take a quick shower to get rid of some dog loving.", heading down the hall.

Cass sent the last of her texts and sadly watched Greer go. She stood and began to pace.

"Mal is on his way," she said softly to Alex.

Beep, beep of another text. She looks at it and nods.

"Correction, Estaban is on his way."

It wasnt too long before Estaban arrived at the house and knocked.

She gave a quick look to Alex, but she was already on her feet. She opened the door, but not before peeking out first.

"Hey, Estaban," she attempted to sound chipper. It wasn't a very good attempt.

He looked concerned.

"Cassiel, are you alright? Are you ready to come with me? Malachi is waiting."

Cassie hears beside her ear "Can you bring me my bag by the door?" from Greer as if a soft whisper to her.

"I'm alright," she nodded softly. "Concerned, a little shaken up. But I'm alright."

She looked back at Alex as she stepped further back inside.

"Let me... Let me go tell Greer. I'll be ready in just a few moments."

Cass picked up the bag near the door and headed down the hallway in Greer's general direction.

He nodded.

"Of course."

He looked after her and stepped into the hallway, waiting

The door was unlocked, the steam still in the room, and a smile "Thanks Cassie. You going to be ok?" softly asked as she took her clothes. Starting to get dressed, while waiting for Cassie's answer.

She nodded to Greer, stepping into the bathroom and closing the door just a little.

"Of course," she said softly with a forced smile. "I always find a way to land on my feet. And I'm sure that everything will turn out okay for everyone in the end. Estaban just arrived... He and Mal want to chat with me. So... I guess this is it for the evening. Do you need anything before I go?"

There is a passing of time, then Greer exits smoothing her dress, her hair twisted up, a smile that doesn't quite reach her eyes but a warm "Good evening Estaban."

Estaban nods at Greer, smiling as he waits for Cass.

"Good evening."

His eyes dart to look for Cass.

Cass simply just hasn't returned from her trip to the bathroom.

Alex looked to Estaban, "Wait here." Then he went down the hall, "Cass?"

He smiled.

"Excuse me, but do you know where cassiel went? Malachi is waiting for us, you understand how impatient the dear can be."

With a smile at Estaban "She is coming, but needed a moment..." watching Alex "Alone." looking back at Estaban.

"It's been a long night, you going to keep her safe? IF so do you know from what?" gently asked of him.

As Alex called for her, the water on the sink turned on, with the sound of slight splashing, as if Cass might have been washing her face.

Alex stopped when Greer said the word "Alone." He knew what it meant, knew the connotation. His jaw squared as he closed his eyes, then he turned to Estaban. "I hope you have better luck than the rest of us, so far. Because what ever this guy was... Griselda's magic didn't stop him from just popping in."

He nodded.

"Of course, my apologies. I don't know what has her troubled tonight, but I along Malachi will keep her safe. Do you wish to tell me or should I wit to hear it from her lips?"
