Naomi didn't say anything. Even when Marvin prepared for sleep in the wee hours of the morning before dawn, she was still awake and in the same position when he left her. By the time he settled in bed, she let the teddy bear fall to the floor and rolled over toward Marvin. She clung to him before her body finally gave out from exhaustion.
