Getting to know the ghoul - Marvin's Haven

"It's a pretentious state. I don't know if you would like it," she chuckled.

He licked his lips "Pretentious people taste good."

She raised an eyebrow at that.

"What do you mean, taste? I would figure that blood tastes metallic no matter whose it is."

"Do all fruits taste the same?" he said gently "Do all apples taste alike, are all grapes the same?"

"So are you saying that different blood types have distinct tastes? I am trying to follow..." but it was confusing.

"Different people, taste different. Rich well fed people taste better than say a strung out homeless drug addict. If you'll forgive the comparison, think of cattle. Do you think a rangy long horn would taste as good as say the finest Kobe beef?"

"I... suppose it wouldn't..."

She cocked her head to the side, thinking.

"So... we're cattle?"

"Well yes." he said as a matter of factly. "We feed on mortals, consume their blood. Many of us even cultivate herds so to speak, a group of people we watch, take care of to an extent, and guard from harm so that we have an assured food source. We are predators Naomi love, even if we resemble the human beings we once were, and often still cling to our fading humanity."

"I see," she said as she stood and moved back to the kitchen, finishing her second coffee drink of the night. Of course she was focused on what he said, letting it sink in.

"Can you choose not to become a monster? I know I haven't met many of you... but you all seem fairly okay to me. What am I missing?"

"You can choose not to be a monster, but many of us are monsters, even as we maintain an outward air of civility. There are different paths one can follow to try and achieve salvation, or to keep from falling victim to the beast that lives within all of us. Many of us follow a path of humanity where we try to maintain a level of humanity sufficient to keep us from becoming monsters."

"And this is what you follow?" There was definitely some hope in her tone.

"I do. I maintain my humanity sufficient to not succumb to the beast within me. But make no mistake love, I am a monster at some level. We all are. Some of us have to dig very deep to find it. I know a woman of my same clan is is more human than most mortals for instance. And I know of creatures who would terrify you."

She swallowed hard at that and remained silent as she got rid of the trash on the counter. Slipping the last coffee drink in the fridge, she ran her fingers through her hair.

"I don't think your a monster," she said softly over her shoulder. Truth was, she just didn't know.

"Well thank you. I shall try to not be a monster around you, but there may come a time when you will see the monster within me. The Children of Malakav are feared by other vampires because of our insanity, and the powers that come with it. Often we do not have to be monsters unless we wish to be. Myself... my monstrosity is more subtle. As you've noticed I'm rather callous for instance. I keep you nude and bound, but am otherwise kind and gentle to you. Another monster might keep you locked in a closet, and beat you regularly. It is all a matter of how it is done."

"Would that sort of unkindness come back to bite a vampire in the ass? Wouldn't they try to leave?"

Naomi shivered.

He held her close, and stroked the back of her neck.

"Can you leave me Naomi? I mean truly if you wanted to. How long could you stay away, how hard would it be?"

Idly he realized he was breaking her more, but it was bound to happen sooner or later

She was trying to rationalize that thought. But he was distracting her. Perhaps it was the point, but she didn't care.

"But I don't want to leave. I couldn't even begin to assume to know what I would or wouldn't do," she said, leaning her head on his shoulder lovingly.

Marvin kissed the tip of her nose and looked at her kindly

"Then we won't have that problem. Do you think I mistreat you Naomi? Even with how I ask you to be unclad and bound?"

"No, you gave me that choice because your are kind. I do it to please you. I don't want you to be displeased."

Wrapped around his little finger and oblivious to it all.

"You are a dear Naomi, you know that."

He smiled and showed his fangs, she should know by now what that meant.

Naomi leaned slightly away from Marvin, allowing him to pick where he wanted to feed from on her body. Her eyes closed at the sight of his fangs though. If she didn't see them, he really wasn't a monster, right?

He smiled, and put his fangs into her wrist, and as always slowly drank two units of her blood.

This time as he drank, he let his fingers move over her body, gently stroking various pleasure points.

No, not a monster at all.

She held to the counter for support, initial cries turning to pleasurable sounds. She would never get used to this. And his wandering fingers just added to it. Her knee jerk reactions was to... well, knee jerk. But to be fair, she didn't really have much control over her body.

It may have been her body by virtue of her mind and soul inhabiting it, but her flesh was his, and he liked to demonstrate the control he exerted over it.

He dodged her jerking knee easily enough, barely thinking about it.

Slowly he finished, and withdrew his fangs, licking the wounds closed but not retracting his fangs.

Smiling at Naomi, Marvin licked the last bit of her blood from his lips. "Do you think the experience would be even more intense if I gagged you and you could not cry out? Do you think you could handle that much pleasure with no release love?"

She shook, opened her eyes and then turned her head from him. The fangs still scared her for some reason. She also didn't know how to answer his questions.

Her whole body seemed to blush, the question bringing out her usual shy self.

"I... I don't know."
