Stop! Party Time! (Miyu's Party)

Victor was smiling. "I ever tell you you how graceful of a dancer you are?"

She laughed.

"Every time you see me dance."

"Yes but this is the first time we've been able to dance and I could hear your voice."

She laughed softly.

"True. But at the same time, if we're dancing, there's generally music loud enough that we can't really chat."

Victor was actually concentrating very hard on this whole able bodied dancing thing and might have been showing some degree of improvement as he adapted.

"Truth" he smiled

She laughed softly.

"Then stop ruining this moment by thinking or talking."

Victor gently kissed Miyu on the lips and focused on the moment of the dance, getting lost in the music and in Miyu

Oh, finally! Finally, he got a hint! She smiled, her eyes drifting closed when he pressed the kiss to her lips. It was a gentle kiss that she returned, more a peck than anything, but it was sweet, intimate and almost like they were the only two there on the dance floor.

As far as Victor was concerned, they were the only two. It was a moment seven decades in the making, and at the moment, the world consisted only of them

It was the same for Miyu, and she simply ignored everyone and everything else going on around them at the moment. There was just herself, Victor and the music that had her still dancing, because whether the music was still heard or not, she heard it.

Victor relaxed, more than he had been in a long time and drew Miyu a little closer. He was in a room full of scary powerful vampires and oblivious to all of them, because really on one of them, and the world they had created around them mattered. In some dusty corner of his mind, he could hear music too, but it was the old music they had danced to before, but now there would be new music to add to those memories. Unlife was... good.

The world slipped away for her as well. She moved where Victor pulled her, a smile on her face as she swayed to the music and looked at him. Everything was perfect.

As the song ended Victor smiled and softly kissed Miyu on the lips and whispered. "Love you"

That was probably the sweetest thing she had ever seen. Which meant that she now needed to change it up a little. As the music started, she reached over to grab Griselda's arm and pull her to the dance floor.

There's the redheaded Tremere on Tremere action Victor had been waiting for. Since, well, Orie was dancing like a porn star with Griselda and a grin on her face.

She squeaked a little as Orie grabbed her and dragged her to the dance floor. Then, with a laugh, she joined Orie in the dancing like a porn star - she just didn't start taking off her clothes. Though to be fair, the not taking off the clothes was the only thing that kept it to dancing rather than, well, fucking on the dance floor. It wasn't as sappy as Victor and Miyu, but then, it wasn't meant to be.

Miyu smiled as she returned Victor's gentle kiss.

"Love you too...." she said, then turned her head to tilt her head at the two Tremere. "Didn't realize it was going to be this kind of party," she said with a slight smirk.

"Ye know," Jamie said to no one in particular, just whoever happened to be standing near him at the moment. "Some men might find tha' t' be verra attractive," he commented, in a tone that suggested that he, in fact, did not.

Victor's eyes widened and he nodded. "I keep reminding myself that society has changed. " He wasn't even finding it attractive. Just... shocking.

The ancient Tzimisce smirked a bit.

"Gentlemen, don't be sexist. Men are not the only ones who find such a display attractive," she said mildly. "Besides...there is an obvious connection with those two and a poorly-contained attraction, even if their general attitude about one another is dislike. Hatred is simply the other side of the coin of love, as far as emotions go." She picked up a nearby glass to give it an experimental sip.

"I've got money that says they end up kissing before the end of the night anyway."

Victor looked at Griselda and then to Victoria. "Probably "

She gave Victor a sly smile.

"I wonder," she said mildly, "If her man would be upset by that."

Victor looked at Victoria and shrugged. "I honestly lack the broader cultural context and knowledge of the people involved to say. "

She smiled again, though this time it was a little more friendly and a bit less wicked.

"I could force it," she said mildly. "Force them to do what is in their nature and in their hearts to do. However, I think, perhaps, that I will spare my darling little sister the tearful confession of her wanton, whoring ways." She laughed softly. "Because that is what she would do. She would run straight to him and confess it all, begging for forgiveness. And depending on the nature of the man, he would either forgive her or tell her that it is over, though from the little I know of the nature of their relationship, the latter would be the case, rather than the former. Better, I think, to let things happen organically, so that she does not have my evil, wicked ways to fall back on as an excuse. I may enjoy poking the bear, so to speak, but to stir the hornet's nest is a bit beyond where I would like my involvement to stand."

See? Victoria is reasonable.

Victor nodded. "I think she has a lot to work through. She'll figure it out in time. "

She took a sip of alcohol from the glass in her hand - whiskey, and good whiskey at that. Then she laughed.

"Darling, she has had enough time to 'figure it out', so to speak. She knows what she wants. The reality of it is that she was innocent when she was taken - as I was - and it took a very long time for that innocence to completely die. For me, the innocence was ripped away quickly, a blessing that I should thank my Sire for. For her, though her innocence was ripped away, there was a difference. Whereas my Sire ripped away my innocence in an attempt to teach me lessons that were important to the ruling of a land and the ways of the Tzimisce, her innocence was ripped away by a selfish, egotistical man for no other reason than it brought him joy to harm her."

She shook her head. "My lessons were greedily learned. In her case, lessons were also learned, but they were the wrong lessons. She learned that she was wicked, evil, a coward, something disgusting for being a woman, being lovely, having desires. The Scots, as a whole, are a passionate people," she said, giving Jamie a glance and a smile. "And there is nothing at all wrong with that. But she doesn't see that, doesn't understand that she is not filth or trash for being what it was that whatever God you believe in created her to be."
