Stop! Party Time! (Miyu's Party)

She was all dressed up, in a dress that matched her hair, actually. It was one of the few times she actually dressed to match her hair rather than a subdued blue or green. The dress was short, but she had freedom of movement. The bar had been closed to the public for the evening, lights dimmed and she was standing behind the bar, waiting for her guests to arrive.

Had to play the perfect hostess, after all.

The Keeper was there as well, putting the finishing touches on some lighting concerns -- and finishing with the playlist for the evening's music. She was grinning at Griselda, but the two women weren't exactly chatting. She was almost skipping in her excitement.

Victor pulled up in the nice sensible SUV he'd bought recently, and got out to open Miyu's door.

Coming early to see if she could help with any last minute details, plus make sure she was on time, she had arrived solo, but her date was meeting her and well she was dressed for the party.  Her very long hair was in an updo and simple jewelry.

Her present wrapped in simple brown paper, and seeing Griselda, her face lit up:

"Hello Sheriff don't you look even more beautiful this evening? Keeper is all well? And Mr. Steele is all satisfactory?"

From behind the bar, Griselda grinned.

"I am not the Sheriff tonight, Miss Luna, unless something goes very wrong. Thank you! You look absolutely beautiful this evening!" She meant her compliment as well. "Can I get you started with something to drink?"

'No thank you." looking around to see if her date had arrived yet.

She had actually done her makeup for once. It was the first time in something like a half a century. Once in a while, she did it up, though. She wore a simple black dress and slipped her hand into Victor's arm when he opened the door for her with a smile.

He was dressed formally, in the colors of his clan and Griselda's. The blue and green, kilt, coat and tartan slung over his shoulder. With a bit of yellow in there for good measure. He hadn't worn the good kilt in a long time; he needed to pull the dust off. His hair slicked back and tied into a tail with a leather thong, while the clothing itself might have seemed ridiculous, the man himself stood tall and proud, walking into the party with his left arm at his side and his right held at waist level across his middle. Very, very formal indeed.

She let out a low whistle as she came up to the bar. She walked with a lot of hip and and a swinging ass which just proved that she hadn't lost all of her prostitute habits. The low whistle was aimed at the man who just walked in the door.

"Damn, he cleans up nice. Hey Red, why don't you get us all a drink anyway?" She couldn't help it. Then she gave Guinevere a grin. "Miss Luna, you look beautiful this evening. Things are going quite well - I believe I have the Prince's permission to declare this place a temporary Elysium for the evening, so we should all be able to let our hair down and have a bit of fun."

She winked and turned to Griselda, waiting for her drink to be finished.

Guinevere brightened at his arrival, after a wave to Miyu when she arrived as well, but once Jaime was there - well there was no one else there. She walked up to him, "Why you look quite dashing Your Grace." and a look that said it was a good thing that they came separate or they'd never of left the house. And she didn't say it out loud, or with telepathy but he knew that she knew without even checking he was in a kilt and NOT a dress.

She was busy behind the bar -- pouring a glass of wine for herself and for Oriella, then a scotch for Jamie. Because she knew her cousin very well. She flashed a grin at the other readhead and nodded, picking up her glass of wine to sip and sliding the other glass of wine to Orie.

"Yes. Yes, he does. I'd say it's probably a good thing we're family."

Victor smiled warmly as they went inside.  "Us against the world again?"

The arm across his waist moved to take Guinevere's hand, bringing it to his mouth so that his lips could hover just above her knuckles. He had a twinkle in his eye as he looked at her, speaking quietly.

"Aye, thank ye, Lady Luna. Ye look quite lovely this evenin', I must say." A gentle smile and another eye twinkle, his fingers squeezing her hand just slightly.

"It's a party. In your honor. For being awesome, because people here love you. Look, even the Prince dressed up."

Her eyes drifted toward the Prince -- and to Guinevere. She waved at the other woman with a smile, then leaned in close to Victor....

"I am pretty sure the dressing up was not for me."

She took the glass of wine her clanmate sent her way and took a sip as well, leaning against the bar and watching the arrivals. Then she tilted her head.

"Ohh, you brought out the good stuff for this shindig," she said with a wink to Griselda. "Which means that once you've had two or three glasses, I'm going to ask you to dance. And you're going to say yes."

She wasn't being creepy. She was grinning.

"I can't pirouette. But what the hell, I'll dance with you. Even if I'm not drunk."

"Just run with it" he chuckled while nodding politely to the Prince, and walking up to the bar.

She laughed.

"I'm not offended."

With that, she was following him to the bar to smile toward the Sheriff and Keeper.

Victor chuckled and greeted the two redheads. "Thank you both for your help in all this."

He looked back at Miyu and smirked "I really couldn't get the Harpy to help with the guest list on this one, Miss Martin did that."

She smirked at Griselda.

"Drink up, Red. Drunk Griselda is fun."

Then she turned when Victor and Miyu arrived at the bar, flashing them both a bright grin.

"Thank you! It was a lot of fun to plan."

She shook her head at Orie, picking up her glass of wine and drinking deeply from it.

"Drunk Griselda turns into a teenage girl on prom night."

Then she turned to Victor and Miyu, smiling.

"Hey, you two. You're most welcome -- can I get you anything to drink?"

"Gin, bitters and a bit of sugar if you can please?" The classic 'Old Fashioned' was about the last cocktail he remembered from his mortal days, although it was cutting edge and trendy then.

She nodded and the music started. That's when she started to do her thing, since someone needed to do something beyond the usual lame hellos. She was, in fact, mixing his drink for him -- and it was the Kindred-friendly stuff, so he would likely end up drunk by the end of it, if he drank too many of them. But she was having a good time and by the end of her little routine, she slid the glass toward Victor with a smile.
