"Until I know what's going on, I'm not asking anyone else to help." with a frustrated sigh. "Knowing my luck I've got some odd vampire parasite that is either going to do a Predator moment and burst through my chest or crawl out my skull." with a shrug at him.

"Not like you knocked me up, so I have to find out how this happened on top of what's going on." with a nod to him.

She looked at him "This city is the oddest place I've been, warlocks in other clans, other clans with magic, and a number of old things that pretend to be much younger. Ghosts seeking their missing children and people being sacrificed in caves by the sea." she said with a shake of her head "Oh and the fae...."

"Yes because you've stated more than once you've got not attachment to anything or anyone. It makes me leery on why you'd offer to do so." she says raising an eye brow at him.

"That's the precise reason. I don't have attachments, but I can help you because I don't care who I hurt in the process of helping you."

"Because while I don't feel a particular attachment for you, I do feel responsible for you."
