"When I talk about people being inhumane, I mean they're murderers, rapists, you know, the really bad people out their. I'm not talking about those guys that are all chivalric, or those feminists that starve themselves or even people looking for some degree of catharsis. I'm talking about those people that are assholes for the sake of being assholes."

She lay her index finger against the side of her nose.

"Don't have to be inhumane to be a real asshole, you know. The world is full of them."

"Fair enough. I suppose the next best thing is buying stock in a cement company."

She smirked.

"Or just buy the cement company."

"I'd hate to think I'm cheating myself out of some amount of wealth that might better serve the less fortunate just because I need to bury someone in a foundation. And then hope they don't crawl back out, even though we both know they will."

She snorted softly.

"Not very good at burying things, are you?"

Blunt? Yes.

"I'm great at burying things. It's the fact that some bastard will come along and dig up what I've buried. I mean really, can't they just leave well enough alone?"

She smirked again.

"Well, then stop burying shit where it can be found so easily."

"You know, most people have to move a building to get what I bury. Maybe next time I'll try a message in a cement bottle."

She threw back her head and laughed.

"Man, you're big on those gigantic, dramatic displays, huh?"

"I didn't say they were large buildings, I just said they were buildings. Though maybe... Oh never mind. Needless to say I get frustrated every Niue and again that I can't just be rid of some detrimenta idiot who keeps his head in the ground."

She smirked again.

"Temper, temper. I bet you're one of the Rabble."

He smiled softly as he said, "No, Madam, I am a Zealot. Contrary to popular belief, there is a difference."

She grinned.

"Really? Your temper is better than the Rabble's?"

"Most times," he said.

She laughed at that.

"Then you're probably a Blueblood."

"Don't insult me." He said with a smile that faded after a moment.

She laughed.

"That wasn't an insult. If I wanted to insult you, I'd have called you a Rose."

"Ugh, don't get me started on that lot. I want to like them, I do, but they so damn... Pissy all the time. Too many of them are too busy mourning their humanity to realize the gift they've been given."

She snorted.

"They would need to pull their heads out of their own asses to be able to be useful. And not one of them has the ability to do that."

"I know. It's really rather disappointing."

She waved a hand.

"Expected. They have their uses, though. Sometimes, they make good friends."

She smiled fondly.

"Sometimes. In my experience they make better marks." Now he smiled fondly.

She laughed softly at that.

"You a good thief or one of the ones who just does it because he's bored?"

"Yes."

That was all he said.
