Frightened Kitten (Open) - Darius and Crew

She frowned.

"I don't know that he would want me to tell."

She smiled.

"I understand."

She smiled.

"You are my friend, but he is Master."

She smiled at that.

"Oh, I am aware. I wouldn't want to upset Darius."

She smiled.

"Thank you. He knows what I saw, and can tell you if he wants."

She nodded and gave the woman another smile.

"Absolutely."

Suddenly she wrapped her arms around her friend.

"Thank you for talking to me."

She didn't seem upset. But her hug? It was an odd thing. Stiff, but not like she didn't want the hug. More like she didn't know what to do with it. Human contact and Gwen? They were kind-of like strangers. So, in short, the hug was awkward, but it was there.

"You're most welcome, Bethy."

She let her go pretty quickly.

"Did you need something from Darius or Savannah?"

She nodded.

"I need to speak with one or the other. Or both of them."

She nodded.

"You should call. I don't know where they are."

She nodded.

"I will. Thank you, Bethy."

She smiled.

"Thanks for snapping me out of it."

She smiled.

"Any time. You can call me any time if you are having trouble, Bethy."

She nodded.

"Thank you."

She smiled at that.

"Good. I'm going to hold you to that, too."

She smiled.

"You should go talk to Darius. I'm sure you have important things to talk about."

She smiled.

"I'll go find him. Have a good evening, Bethy."

She rose to her feet and headed back out of the room to look for Darius.

And she went over to start writing in one of her notebooks.
