Making it up to frederico(open) - Frederico's Haven

Estaban arrived dressed looking particularly yummy and very well dressed, carrying three perfect roses. He knocked on the door and waited for an answer.

The man answered the door himself this time, a look of surprise crossing his face

"Hello, Estaban."

He smiled at his Sire, very friendly.

"Hello father. Forgive me for not calling ahead of time. Have I picked a bad night?"

He shook his head and gestured for his son to come inside.

"Not at all. Your visits have become so infrequent that it surprises me when I see you."

He nodded.

"My apologizes. If has been a busy 6 months. And I have no excuses. I hope you will forgive me."

He handed the roses to him and then moved up close to the man, one hand going around his waist. Then his lips were on his fathers. A soft sweet and not at all familial kiss.

You could have knocked Frederico over with a feather. Truly, it was a good thing that Estaban's arm was around his waist and holding him up, his surprise was just that great.

But he did return the kiss, without comment. Returned it, his eyes drifting closed -- it had been quite some time since he had felt his son's lips... and for the moment, he was going to just enjoy it.

Estaban let him enjoy it for as long as he wished. It had been 6 months since the simplest of kisses and a good year since they had a real kiss or anything more. Maybe more than a year.

He kissed his sire deeply, sweetly and then only after several minutes pulled back.

"Hello father. Better?"

Shocked. The Toreador still looked shocked.

"What... was that about?"

He smiled at the man.

"I just have missed you. I have not showed you how much I loved you in a long time. I woke up this evening and realized, I wanted more than anything to show you how much I love you. To show you how important you are to me."

His hand came up, brushing his knuckles lightly over his son's cheek.

"This is not what I have come to expect from you," he said softly. "Last we spoke, you wished to never show me such again, for your lady."

He nodded, looking a little ashamed.

"I still love her. I still want to be with her. But I realized you deserve my love as well, not just the love in my heart but more. And.. I realized I missed you. The touch of you and your touch. I missed the sounds you make and how you feel when you fill me father. If you turn me away, I understand. I deserve that. But I wanted you to know how much I missed you, and that I still love you."

His brows rose as he listened. He wasn't turning Estaban away, but there were some things that he just couldn't understand. At least, not yet.

"Tell me what has changed. You had thought of me before and yet, I do not believe just missing me is enough. Not the way you fought and argued for the sake of your sweet lady."

"Time changed. It took me time to realize, I needed you.My love for you was too great to not include your touch. Your kiss killed me and brought me to life and I need it again. I need you. I love Ra'idah but she will simply have to deal with the fact that I love you too, and I cannot hold back the passion I have for you any more."

His hand caressed his father's face again, so loving.

He didn't move away. Which was a start. He didn't move away. But his eyes narrowed as he watched his son's eyes.

"She knows you are here?" Because that could be bad later, if she didn't.

He nodded.

"She knows I am here, knows I am with you and knows what I plan to do with you. She is not happy but she will have to learn to live with it."

His brows rose as he caressed his son's cheek.

"And you are willing to make her unhappy for me?"

He moved his cheek into Frederico's hand.

"I am secure enough to know I will not loose her. And she has to understand that there are somethings she cannot control. For you, I am willing to make her unhappy."

He would do much for his father, and gave her this. Because she wished this.

He turned his hand to cup Estaban's cheek. This was a bit more firm, though he drew his son into another kiss. Deep and passionate and he even ended it with a little nip against his son's lip. The problem was... he met his son's eyes.

"I do not know that I am willing to make her unhappy."

He looked at his father.

"You have changed your mind? You approve of her and want her happy? When did you change your mind so much?"

He smiled and caressed his son's cheek.

"Since I saw how happy she made you. Since you fought me so hard for her."

He moved his face into Frederico's hand.

"She means the world to me and she does make me happy. I never really believed in true love before her. But I love you too."

He laughed softly, then brushed a gentle kiss over Estaban's lips.

"I know, my son. I know that you love me. But there is a time when we all must let go. This is my time to let go of you. You came back to me; I know you are mine. You are my son, you always will be. Go home to your lady. She needs you."

He kissed the man deeply one more time.

"If this is what you want father."

God, this was hard for him.

Smiling, he kissed Estaban one more time.

"I want... for you to be as happy as you can be. Causing her to be unhappy is not going to help you to remain happy. Go on. I'll be just fine."

He smiled at his father.

"God I love you so much father. Thank you for being the man you are."
