"I am attracting the quiet sort of anarch and independent who just wish to be left alone, but will defend against sabbat if needful"

She nodded.

"That's good. That is the kind of people you want around you."

"the anarchs failed once when giving in too easily when they still had the fiends supportong them. And then continued to fail by seeking destruction of the cam. I bieve there is a third way that can eventually withdraw from the cam fully yet respect existing institutions"

She nodded.

"And until then, you accept that for now, you need us to survive. This is not a bad thing."

"Everything is intertwined at some level, especially with our family. Even if I declared I was an independent tomorrow, I would still participate in the family organization."

She smiled.

"And that is what raises us above all others."

"Indeed. I have heard the Tzmisce were once the clan of kings though. Is that true?"

She shook her head.

"We are the Kings. They are the Church."

"How so?"

She smiled.

"We have haunted the halls of the noble and powerful. The Fiends haunted the catacombs and cathedrals."

History shows you need the church as much as you need the bank. The common man, or even the uncommon man has not given up the church. Apart the two strive against each other "

She laughed.

"I said nothing about us not working together. That is just how it turns out now. We used to be great friends."

"And then the wars"

She nodded.

"Things change. As much as we would like them to, things do not stay the same."

"The fiends here seem different"

She chuckled.

"We are not all of us the same simply because of bloodline. I myself still have a Fiend as a friend."

"Well that is a given " he chuckled "I am saying Florida has the potential to rise above the status quo "

She shrugged.

"It is certainly possible. But I will not bank on it."

"The tzmisce didn't clear out the sabbat out of the kindness of their hearts. Yet who has asked what their plans are?"

"I am almost certain that Anton was one, but I have not heard from him in quite some time."
