She looked confused again.

"It is clothing. I cannot very well walk around nude."

"Nevertheless. You clearly have options."

She leaned close. Enough so that he could smell the violet in her hair. She was close enough that her lips brushed his when she spoke.

"I like wearing things that make my ass look good."

His hand slid around her waist as he held her there. "You are a magnificent study in contrasts."

Her brow lifted as she looked at his arm sliding around her. Then she met his eyes.

"I am uncertain how wearing clothing that plays to my assets is a study in contrast. I also do not recall giving you the green-light to touch me. Do you not realize how dangerous it can be, touching one of the Children of Haquim?"

He continued to smile at her. "I will explain it to you. And no, you did not. Nor did you tell me to remove my arm. I am certain if you wanted me to do so, you would have said so plainly."

She smiled also.

"As I would have done if I wanted you to touch me."

She took his free hand and ran it along her bare thigh.

"As I am currently doing. You do realize, do you not, that you are not going to get what you are after on this little outing?"

The smile didn't waver, nor did he pull his hand away. "And you seem convinced as to 'what I am after'."

She smiled. But she did not move his hand.

"Because you are pathetically easy to read, little one."

He smiled back at her. "Am I?"

She laughed but didn't move. Either him or her.

"Yes, you are."

He reached up and caressed her cheek, his other hand still on her thigh. "Then show me."

She lifted her eyes to his. She looked amused.

"Show you what?"

He drew her in close. "Show me what you think I want." he whispered.

She was already close. She smiled. It was a quiet whisper against his lips.

"Which of my abilities would you like me to teach you first?"

He grinned, his lips brushing against hers. "You'd be the best judge of that."

She licked her lips. Which caused her tongue to brush against his.

"I said you were easy to read. I did not claim to know your priorities."

He chuckled. "Let's start with the lips."

Her brows lifted.

"Which? I have more than one pair."

He laughed this time, touching her face again. "These first."

She smiled.

"In what way?"

Her mouth was soft, warm and sweet. She shifted so that he could kiss her more deeply and closed her eyes.

She shifted again to give him better access to the collar. It buttoned behind her throat. But she didn't break the kiss.
