I Never Kiss on the First Date - White's Funhouse

He nodded, and tapped the intercom. "Pull over." The limo immediately did so.

She got out of the car while motioning for him to follow.

She walked perhaps fifteen paces away from the car. When she turned to face him again she held a fighter's stance. Even in dress and heels. She waved a hand toward him.

"Attack me."

He raised his brows at that, considering. Then his left hand darted towards her cheek....

Her head dodged to the side. In a split-second, not only was there a blade in her hand, but it was pressed against his throat.

She laughed.

"That was not an attack."

He smiled. "Perhaps not, but the point was made." he glanced at the blade, amused.

The blade disappeared. Hard to tell where she put it. She smiled.

"Do you still require demonstration?"

"No." he smiled back. "I think that is sufficient. I would venture to say you are nearly as deadly as you are beautiful."

She stared at him again.

"More deadly."

"I will take your word for it." he smiled.

She turned and walked back to the car.

"Just as well. I would not wish to hurt you without due cause."

He followed behind. If he was watching her swaying hips, he gave no indication.

"No doubt. I hope I shall not give you cause."

She stared at him again.

"It is unlikely that you could."

He closed the door behind them, and the car continued. "You seem very confidant of my good conduct."

She stared at him.

"I am confident that you could do nothing to cause me to break the Traditions."

"And confidant that I would do nothing to justify such an action within those same Traditions."

He was still smiling at her.

"I have not presumed to know your personality. I just know mine."

He nodded and smiled. "Splendid. I can see your presence will benefit the domain in a multitude of ways."

She stared at him again.

"One could hope."

"So tell me. What made you choose this particular appearance?"

Her stare mixed with confusion.

"For?"

"Your attire for these evening, for example. Oh, I know I indicated a likeness for such garb last night, but what made you choose it then?"

"You indicated that I should dress similarly. So I dressed similarly."

"Yes, but why were you dressed as you were last night?"
