She purred softly.

"Si, it would. But there is not much that will cross my lines."

He smiled.

"Then I should be able to make you happy as long as I continue on and do not start to bore you. And I would hate to boar you."

She laughed and kissed him again.

"I do not see that happening any time soon, mi amor."

He smiled and kissed her back, slowly.

"So.. any family? wondering what happened to you, looking for you?"

She shook her head as she shifted to straddle him.

"No family to wonder. I have a brother who is Boggan, but that's it."

He frowned.

"Boggan?"

She chuckled.

"Another kind of Fae soul."

He nodded.

"well we are the same way. Family dead except my sister and me. Though I guess strictly speaking we are dead too. Do you wish to go back to cuba?"

She nibbled on his earlobe.

"Somedays, yes."

He rubbed her butt under the water, feeling the curve of it and the plushness, wondering something as he did.

"Ever wish you were Fae?"

She leaned her head into his shoulder.

"To be whole and not a half breed like we have all become? To be a true Satyr and not have to worry I might lose myself to my humanity again? Yes, all the time."

He nodded.

"And ever wish you were not at all?"

She paused, resting her head against his shoulder.

"Once. A long time ago. I was a teenager, and I couldn't deal with being different. So once, and only once, I wanted to be normal. I wanted to be everything that the other girls were."

He pet her, running his hands through her hair. He was surprisingly gentle after all they had done.

"At some point we all want what domeone sles wants. When I was younger, I wanted to be white and rich and just like the other chulas pretending they were going to get out and be American. We all have those wishes, till we accept who we are."

She nodded and kissed his throat gently.

"Si, we do. I have accepted what I am, now. And I accept what that means."

He lifted his head to let her kiss all she wanted.

"As have I. I think that is part of why we get along. We both accept what we are and what it means we have to do."

She took his skin in the teeth for a moment, gently nibbling.

"Do you ever wish you were alive again?"

He chuckled.

"There have been times. There have been thoughts. But in the end I accept who and what i am. I will never have a child but i serve my gods and my people well."

She nodded.

"I have chosen to not have children. At least for now."

She leaned back again to look him in the eyes, her hands playing across his shoulders.

"HOw did you come to find your God?"

He had a thoughtful look in his eyes. One hand was playing across her thigh under the water.

"A priest actually. funny thing is he told everyone what he was... but everyone assume he was a catholic priest. He took me out of jail cell, told me about my heritage, about my people before the whites came, showed me the history, tuaght me the words. And later.. showed me the blood and power of it and pain and the power of the flayed god."

He poured some water over his head nad his hair rinsed out, wet now and hanging around his face.

"I could feel the god call to me. I was one of the yougest to be accepted, to serve the flayed one. Became his as a ghoul, and trained, till I was ready to be a priest, to accept the blood within me."

She smiled as her hands moved to his chest, playing in the hair that was there.

"You were blessed, then. Lucky that the priest found you. And that the God accepted you. I am glad that He still has people like you."

He laughed and it was a light tone. not like any but one other ever heard.

"You are sounding more like a mountain god every moment. And who do you sacrifice to? There was something supremely...spiritual about your reactions tonight."

She ducked her head.

"I do not know the name. My God does not need one. But I sacrifice blood and sex to Him, and He sends me his pleasure in return."

His hands brought water up to her cheeks and cleaned them off, cupping them at the end so he could look into her eyes.

"Blood and sex. Such a powerful combination. blood and rebirth. How did you find your god?"

She smiled. He would understand.

"In my Dreams."
