I hate asking favours (Sebastian) - Creator's Workshop

Seemed Diego took no offence and instead decided to do a little dance, with the flower still in hand, err, paw.

"I hope they are" she still couldn't actually eat the things, though she enjoyed cooking and baking. Kind of ironic really.

"Mind if I take one to Greg? Phillip sort of horned in on the cake we wrapped up for him to take home," he said taking a bite.

"Hey, I can wrap up the lot for you and you can take it back" she smiled. "I made more than I needed and well, I can't eat it anyways. This way I know for sure it won't be wasted" since it seemed like her baking was well received at the club.

"It's pretty common among vampires. When we're turned, a majority of us looses the ability to ingest anything beyond blood" Teddy answered him truthfully as she chewed on her lip. "Some can still eat but... yeah, if I try to? Unless I push my will to keep it down it just kinda comes back up" rather sudden en violently.

"That's... that's just tragic, actually," Sebastian frowned. "No more tea? No more Chinese food? Heartbreaking."

"Never actually had Chinese" she chuckled and gave a small shrug. "But no, no tea, no pizza, which I've never tried either. No ice cream, no chocolate. No nothing. Can't even have a lollipop. Some miss it, others not so much I guess"

She seemed to think about it for a moment.
"Sometimes. There's so much I haven't had a chance to try and that look and smell so wonderful. But" Teddy shrugged. "I'm not angry or anything. Occasionally a bit disappointed though. I mean, wouldn't you be if you never had a chance to try pizza or noodles or cupcakes?" she motioned to the colourful cupcakes.

"We Turners love food too much," he gave a chuckle. "Yeah, I think I would be very disappointed. Even if I have eaten strange delicacies all over the world that I wished I hadn't. I'm sorry, Teddy."

"Why are you sorry?" she said with a gentle smile at him. "I'm alright" Teddy shrugged her shoulders lightly. "There's too many things to still enjoy to linger on one tiny aspect like that"

Teddy shrugged again.
"Probably not. But I have other things I can enjoy and, well, for the record, what you eat affects the taste of your blood. Alcohol for instance affects it, coffee and tea and general diet does too. Which means I can't taste what you taste but, I can get a hint of it"

Teddy nodded.
"It can. Alcohol, caffeine, drugs" she said, chewing on her lip briefly. "It can all affect the drinker. Trust me... got high at rave once and that was so not planned"

"A vampire... might contract it. Probably wouldn't get ill himself but he might spread it to others" Teddy nodded slowly. "Yet another reason why a fair few people have Ghouls or what they call Herds. People they know it's safe to drink from"

"What about blood banks?" Seemed plausible to him.

"Oh there are those with contacts who might have access to that. Now that, for a vampire, is pure luxury" she smiled.

At that, he laughed heartily.

"A luxury? Really? I thought that would be a given. But it's good to know what you all consider luxury."

"Well, I'd say it's a luxury. Never to have to worry about feeding. Always knowing the blood's clean and that it's there" the rest of them had to make due with hunting after all.

"Mmmm, kinda doubt that to be honest. But, what do I know" Teddy gave a slightly apologetic look and shrug of her shoulders. "I doubt there's that many that we'd dent the blood banks that heavily"

"Maybe...." she chewed on her lip. "I don't like hunting. Though, then again, I'm a shit vampire" she added with a low chuckle. "I like it better the few times I've been able to drink and the blood's been given freely and knowingly by someone. You know?" it made her feel less... well, monstrous really.
