Need information - Alterations While U Wait

This time, she actually knocked on the door.  This was business.  Kind of.

Porter opened the door and smiled.

"Are we selling cosmetics door to door now?"

She grinned.

"Avon calling!"

"I find myself in need of that wonderful body creme. My skin feels like a dead man's." Porter grinned.

"Now get in here and leave your pyramid scheme outside, Miss."

She slipped inside with a grin.

"I find nothing wrong with the feel of your skin. But then, I'm biased."

" 'Fooled', more like." He gave her a hug. "I trust you are feeling at least a smidgen better?"

She nodded.

"Yes, a bit. Still hate her, but things are moving in the right direction. I'm here about another Toreador bitch, actually."

She returned his hug, closing her eyes as she rested her head into his chest.

"I'm afraid you'll have to narrow that down for me, my love. They all whine alike to me."

She chuckled.

"Alex has asked for all the information I can dig up on Jennica."

"Alex? You mean Mr. Rourke?" He chuffed. "It's about damn time he investigated an obvious threat to his so-called beloved, isn't it?"

She nodded.

"That's what I thought. And I came to see if you wanted to help, seeing as you just might be my best source of information on who hates her and where her business lies."

"I will share what I know with you - and with him, if you so desire, but I must disclose that Jennica plays things very close to the vest in the best of times, and my information is sorely out of date."

She nodded.

"It's a place to start, though. And I'll make sure Alex knows you're helping. Everyone leaves a paper trail."

"Does Mr. Rourke have an end-goal in mind, or is this just...information-gathering?"

"Complete and utter ruin, I think?"

"He will have my full cooperation. And a lap-dance, should he wish it."

She blinked. Then laughed, squeaking. Oh, the mental images.
