Johnathon sat in a meeting room, doors wide open and ready for guests.

When she showed up, she was dressed in her best skirt suit, smiling.

"Good Evening, Baron."

He laughed and rose to take her hand and kiss it. "Good evening praetor"

She smiled and kissed his cheeks.

"How have you been?"

"Busy" he said.."make yourself at home please. I don't know if the others will show, they think me mad or a borderline criminal you know. "

She settled into a chair.

"That is because they are short sighted."

"To say nothing of the fact most cam think they are the only ones with authority and can impose their will and authority anywhere. It is irritating at the least. Would you care for a cigar ?"

She chuckled.

"I would love one, thank you. And I know that the only power I have over you is that of clan matters. It keeps things simple."

He offered a box of the Toreador cigars he favored, as well as a lighter. "It does, and it is why I invited the clan here. To discuss clan things. And to give you an estate but that is separate and mostly ass kissing "

She raised an eyebrow at that.

"What?"

He smirked "sorry. I thought to offer you the chance to take several hundred acres, and no matter how you cut it, making any sort of gift to one as yourself is ass kissing in the end, even if it is out of respect. "

Up went the eyebrows.

"Several hundred acres? Where?"

He shrugged. "Where do you want ?"

Shauna showed up and was dressed in her uniform she likely having come off shift.

She blinked.

"You want me to own land in your territory. I'll look into it."

John rose and smiled. "Thank you for coming Shauna "

He looked back to Christine. "Yes. For all sorts of reasons, but yes. "

Shauna nodded and gave him a smile. "So what's up?" She asked clearly having come in to the middle of the conversation.

She laughed.

"You'll have to tell me your reasons."

Then she turned to Shauna.

"Our new Baron here wants me to own land in his Free State."

"Respect, to give the clan a neutral area to gather, a desire to have some people I trust up here. Respect mostly "

She nodded.

"Probably. I'll look around, see what's available."

He nodded. "I wonder if our Keeper will join us tonight or not " plucking a cigar from the box on the table, he lit it and indicated to shauna she could help herself

She nodded and took one up pulling out her half melted lighter and setting a nice ember. If she had a match it would have been done right but as none was offered she just made do. "Thanks."

He had no matches to offer, using a lighter himself. "I intend to allow the family some influence here. "

The fairly loud engine of the Lambo, sounded her arrival. Soon enough, she slipped on into the building, with a smile on her face. Cute black dress upon her form, she smoothly moved into the room, hands behind her back, slight bit of hips in her steps. Natural, of course.
