Spin the Wheel - White's Funhouse

He grinned. "That explains doing it. Not enjoying it."

She blushed, her face turning the same shade as her hair. But she still grinned.

"Didn't enjoy all of it," she muttered, but it was clear she was mostly trying to just hide her embarrassment.

"Oh?" he touched her chin. "Do tell."

She blushed an even deeper red, then shook her head.

"It's nothing. Trying new things is hard for me sometimes. I also do not overly enjoy being scared." She shrugged, but didn't look up. "I had fun, though."

He gave her a pec on the cheek. "You're adorable when you blush."

Her nose wrinkled as she made a face.

"I'm not adorable." Then she looked up at him with a grin. "Come here, I'll clean you up."

She laughed, sliding toward him through the water. She found a sponge, soaked it, then started gently running it over his back and shoulders.

"Any preferences to this?" she asked, smiling gently.

She smiled each time he reached for her, but did not let it interrupt her at all.

Finally, she was finished, and sat back with another smile.

"All joking aside. Thank you."

He reached out and caressed her cheek. "Thank you. I don't pretend I've seen all of your soul. But I've seen a good part."

She smiled, even though she blushed. She looked almost sad in some way, but that look was gone quickly.

"You're welcome. I'm sure it goes without saying that I'd prefer you to keep that bit of information to yourself?" she said it, but it seemed mostly out of form. She didn't think he would go broadcasting it in reality. But it was worth mentioning anyway.

He nodded. "I honor the promise I made to you."

She laughed.

"I know. I ask out of habit."

"Well, I've enjoyed several of your 'habits'." he wrapped his arms around her, leading her out of the bath. He wrapped a plush towel around her. "No regrets?"

She let herself be pulled out of the tub, then took the towel from him to dry herself gently. She seemed mildly surprised.

"Why would I have regrets?" she asked, clearly confused. "I may regret how others would react to this, but I don't exactly plan to go yelling this one from the rooftops or anything. That would be detrimental to both you and me."

"I mean how it went." he said wryly. He helped dry her off gently.

She laughed again, shaking her head.

"And as I said, I have nothing to regret, other than those things mentioned. Which are effects of this. I said nothing about regretting how it went."

"Good." he whispered. He leaned in and gave her a long tender kiss.

"With that, you're free." he smiled. "If you like, there's just enough time to take you back to the boat. If you'd prefer, however..." he grinned. "You can join me in bed, and we can rise together tomorrow evening."

She smiled, but shook her head.

"I appreciate the offer. But people will ask too many questions if I spend the day here."

He raised an eyebrow. "They know about this?"
