Oh, the gifts could wait. There was no rush at all as she was all too happy to stay like yhat, cuddled up close to him, gentle fingers tracing random patterns over his body while resting her soft lips against his skin.
Her everything...
"No rush.... I like this" the blond smiled.

He turned to look at her. Then he laughed. "There's not a woman in the world who would forgive me for that. Including, I bet, you."

Actually...
She gently pushed him back onto his back as she smoothly moved to straddle him again. Her lips lingering but an inch from his as she smiled. Her locks of blond falling down around her face, still a golden colour in the light she'd created.
"I have you... and you're all I want or need. You've given me your heart... I could ask for no greater gift" a soft hand found his cheek while the loving gaze in her eyes lingered. "I don't need roses, or diamonds to be reminded of how you feel for me... All I need is to look into your eyes and I know... So don't ever feel you have to do something for me. Do it if you want to. But don't feel you must. This..." she placed a warm hand on his chest above his heart. "Is your greatest gift to me..."

He was watching her intently as she spoke. His hand at her chest was gentle, brushing his fingertips over her flesh as he gazed up into her eyes. Then he shook his head. "While that may be all you need from me, the fact is that I like to have a physical reminder. The earrings that I gave you for Christmas, a little reminder that you can look at and touch and remember that Christmas night. Things of that sort."

She smiled when he said that, watching him, feeling him.
"I never take them off" not once since he'd given them to her. "I love your gifts. I just want you to know that you don't have to. I only want what you wish to give me" there was a difference after all. "I don't assume or expect to be given things. But you know better than anyone how much I appreciate something given from the heart..."

He smiled at her. "Yes, I know. But I still like to. Not because I'm supposed to, but because I should. I like to create memories, real memories."

Leaning down she placed a loving lingering kiss to his lips.
"Mm.. I'm sorry I don't have a gift like that to give you" she smiled gently. "I'll make it up to you. Promise" the angel illusion could, after all, not be made into something he could carry with him except for in his heart and mind.

He laughed softly. Very softly. But he still looked pleased. "Oh, love. You gave me a very beautiful gift. And I treasure it. I will treasure it always."

"I like being your angel" the blond whispered sweetly, brushing another loving loss across his lips. "Only yours..."

He looked up at her and smiled, leaning up to brush a kiss over her lips. "I would ask what you used to become an angel, but if it is what I suspect, then knowing can ruin the vision."

"I'll tell you if you want... though" she smiled, brushing her lips against again with a soft sigh. "Either way... it's only for you. No one else has seen me like that... no one else will" it was meant for him, and him alone after all.

He laughed softly. "I like to keep the mystery and magic behind it, I think. It's beautiful and I'm very honored that you would give me that gift. My angel."

It was clear she liked it when he called her that, the soft, almost shy expression told him that much as she dipped her head to press her lips to his collar bone with a warm touch.
"Lover.." her lover.

Gently she brushed her hand down his chest from his shoulder with the faintest scratch of nails. Her hand coming to rest above his heart.
"Anything for you.." and she meant it. Truly. Anything.

He laughed softly. Taking her hand in his, he linked their fingers. Then he turned slightly on the bed, so that he could reach under it, actually. "Okay, so I'm in the middle of planning a vacation for us, too, but I've got a few presents stashed around here for you... if I had about six more inches of arm so that I didn't have to get up..."

Her eyes seemed to light up a bit with surprise, though, a very good surprise, of that there was no doubt.
"A vacation?" that was...
Oh, she bit her lip softly and snuggled up against him, kissing his shoulder gently again with a soft chuckle. "Mm... that sounds great" she smiled, giving his hand a squeeze. "I don't think I can do much about that arm of yours though" so he'd either have to move or let the gift wait a bit longer.

Grunting, he wiggled his fingers, then inch-wormed himself along the bed so that he could reach under it and pull out a small box. Obviously jewelry of some kind, but it was hard to tell what. He grinned at her, triumphant. "Gotcha, you little bastard. And yes, a vacation. I thought we could go to Paris."

Paris, with him?
The blond's soft lips moved to muffled those last words in a passionately happy kiss.
"I would love to" Teddy grinned at him, brushing a hand over his cheek and kissing him again before pulling back just enough to gaze at the box, and then at him again.

He grinned at her as she almost attacked him in her joy. He accepted the kisses, though, and brought a hand up to run lightly over her hair. "Good. That's your real present, but I thought I'd get you that, too." He grinned. "Go ahead. Open it."

Teddy chewed on her lip for a moment, holding the box gingerly for a moment before opening it.

A small ring was inside. Fitted to her finger, even. The German just lay there on the bed and watched her open her present.

The smile disappeared, though only because she looked stunned. Her lips parting as, for a moment, she looked as if she wasn't sure if she should laugh or cry.
"Oh Medwyn..." he melted her just like that, the blond biting down on her lip as she let her fingertips trace the surface of the ring with a light touch. It was beautiful.

Two hearts...

Teddy lifted her gaze to him, and he could see, she really was moments from crying as she finally smiled. Smiled with pure joy.
"Oh love.."

He seemed mildly surprised. But pleased. Reaching for her, he brushed hair out of her face and cupped her cheek. "You like it?"

"Yes..." the blond smiled at him, gazing into his eyes with those bright blue orbs that held so much love and warmth for him. "It's beautiful.. I love it. Thank you..." she said softly, eyes still locked with his as she turned to brush her lips against his hand before leaning in to brush her lips across his lips. "Thank you..."

He smiled up at her, taking the kisses she offered gladly and giving them back to her. She seemed to smile so easily, he had even been worried that she wouldn't like the little piece of jewelry. "Good. I'm glad you like it. Sorry there isn't more; I figured that and the trip would be enough."

Worried? So silly of him...

The blond pulled back gently, biting her lip still with a look as if a bit choked up while she smiled and slipped the ring onto her fingers.
"You didn't have to get me anything but yourself, love... This? This is beautiful... And I'll be looking forward to going on vacation with you... I'll dream about it" Teddy smiled at him, warmth to her voice as much as her smile and her eyes. "You thought of me... but care into your gifts...Thank you Medwyn... thank you"
