The girl behind the counter waved to him.

"You want the usual? And who's your lady friend? You treating her right?"

He chuckled.

"Rachel, this is my sister Martha. Martha, Rachel would like a coffee. On me."

Rachel chuckled at the introduction, "I like my coffee sweet, I hope that's not a problem?" looking at him.

"No ma'am. You like a flavor with your coffee?"

She nodded and started making up the drinks. Mark led her to a table in the corner with a nice, old couch in front of it.

"So, Rachel. Tell me a bit about yourself. Favorite book and the like."

"Favorite book of all time, Rebecca." with a smile at him "My favorite color is orange, which I can't wear but it's so cheerful and it makes me smile. Your turn."

He smiled, then dropped his hand to her knee. And then Martha walked over with their coffees, setting them on the table in front of them. She winked at Rachel before walking away, back to work.

"Any more questions for me, beautiful?"

"Why Chemistry? What do you wish to do with your degree and I take it you bring girls here all the time?" with a chuckle and not moving his hand looking at him.
