Rachel was quietly reading in a back table, making a few notes but seeming to be cross referencing something. The blonde's hair was up, her attire casual and she was quite deep in thought.

The boy at the next table seemed to be checking her out. Or was he just trying to see what she was reading? It was hard to tell.

She glanced up, looking at him quickly and then back at her book so it seemed but looking over the top of her book to see if she could figure out which he was doing.

When she looked up, he got bolder. He grabbed his stuff and brought it over to her table.

"Hey, I'm Mark. What are you studying?"

"Celtic mythology Mark. Hi I'm Rachel." with a bright smile at him and a hand extended to him.

"I'm a Chem major, myself. Religion and Mythology just confuse me."

"Well St. Patrick's day is coming and I was trying to find information about Leprechauns." tucking a stray strand behind her ear and her dark blue eyes looking at him.

"It was. And yet it was proven right."

With a twinkle in her eye "Or do enough believe in it so it is made so? For example, how long did so many think the world was flat. Scientist of the time thought it and so it was proven "true"." mischievously whispered to him.

"Oh, I know. It's why I don't fault myths and fairy tales. I just find them hard to get into without picking them apart."
