"And now I can protect you."

Mike leans back and closes his eyes.

"I like the way that sounds."

She leans into him, drawing circles on his chest with her fingers.

"My Knight. It's been so long since I had one."

Mike takes her hand with his and kisses it.

"It my honor to be your knight."

She nuzzles into his chest, then moves to kiss him.

"You will not be able to protect me from the punishment that comes from this. But by our rules, they cannot separate us."

"I don't care what the other vampires say. I just want to stay here with you my love."

And then the door bursts open. And standing there is the man from the front room.

"Did I smell roses, Clara? What have you done?"

"So this is what you meant."

She sat up, putting herself between the man and Mike.

"He's mine. He'll work, but he's mine. You can't hurt him."

And she stood. Not bothering to dress.

"So whats the cage?"
