Her eyes grew a little wide as he spoke. Then she chuckled.

"I stand corrected. Happily."

"Excellent. I shall endeavor to prove to you, my poppet, that I am so true and consistent as to be marvelously predictable and as constant as the North Star. Some might even call it 'bland'."

She chuckles and tries to turn to hold him. It's awkward to move with only one leg. More than one would imagine.

"That'll make one of us. I'm afraid I'm not very predictable."

"You'll forgive me if I wait to give my assessment on the veracity of your assertion. It is early yet."

She laughes.

"I go off an come back with a leg missing. Practically on a whim. But I will admit to being happier this past month."

"Perhaps your happiness will serve as a catalyst for regeneration."

She smiled.

"It certainly makes me want to get up on both feet faster."

"Still. Enjoy your pampering."

She smiled.

"I intend to. I think I deserve a little pampering."

"You deserve a great many things, my love."

She chuckled.

"You deserve no less."

"The time for my own pampering will come in time. At the moment, you are the focus."

She chuckled.

"Bully for me. And how do you intend to pamper me? Just movies and popcorn?"

"Oh, I don't know..." he mused. "Flowers, perhaps. I could do your nails. A puppy?"

She chuckled.

"Already have my eye on a Corgi. Flowers are never at their best at night. Just having you hear is enough for me."
