He continued to move with her, inside her. They eased together with a sweet, easy kiss of flesh, their bodies moving so perfectly in sinc. It was a reflection of the love they felt for each other as well as the perfect comfort at the moment. His fingers linked in hers he smiled and kissed her again as well.

"Of course...You are mine....I will claim you in...fire as well...as flesh and spirit."

He kissed her again, slow and sweet, when his lips came just barely off hers, he spoke, a whisper for her ears alone.

"Always mine. Always with my mark, that none shall see but you and me. Mine."

He made that word sound..sacred.

It was sacred. And she knew it, felt it in the very core of the woman that she was. She was so many things -- woman, child, vampire, lover -- and with one little whisper, one sentence from his lips, she seemed to transform right before his eyes. There was no room for being shy here. She didn't want to be shy.

His words caused her to shiver, caused her to grip him with her silken heat. For the first time, her sound was more than just a quiet sigh. It was a low, quiet cry of pleasure, of being complete and whole. Her fingers at his shoulders gripped him, held him gently as she trembled. Her lips met his, a soft gentle kiss.

And as cliche as it might have been... a tear rolled down her cheek. Just for him.

He accepted her tear, licking it carefully from her face, tasting her. He knew the tear was for him and him along. But he wanted her to know as well, he would take all of her, her sadness, her happiness, and everything between, accept them happily, as a gift.

There were no cliches because in the moment, all was new, all was for the first time, precious and fresh. He sighed at the taste of her and then kissed her, so she could taste her own tear. She held him and trembled and he slowed to a stop so she could simply hold him and he could hold her. When their lips finally parted he whispered softly.

"For each other. Together. One."

It was nearly everything she could do to hold back the tears. They weren't tears of pain, though. Quite the opposite. They were tears of joy, of happiness. Her arms slipped around his neck, holding him close to her as she shuddered and sighed in pleasure. Her hands slipped into his hair, her lips soft against his. She held him, opening her eyes to look at him as the kiss ended.

"Always?"

He shuddered himself, giving in at the same time as her, feeling the waves coming close to erupting and the little hints running through him. His hands held her close nad even closer as they sped up just the slightest bit, moving together.

"Always. That is..what this is all about. Only and Always. One cannot be without the other."

She felt him, felt the pleasure that rolled through him. Somehow, it seemed gentle to her as well, her body more relaxed and accepting of each touch. Each caress. Each kiss. And kiss him she did, her lips brushing his again after he spoke. She arched against him, pressing close... it was almost as though she couldn't get close enough to him. But she felt him filling her, surrounding her, and she looked him in the eye again.

"I love you. I always have."

A strange thing. Never before when she had made love to him, never had he smiled when he had gotten so close to fulfillment, never. But there was a look on his face that could be only described as a smile. A sweet innocent and open smile of pure happiness. Not put on, not effected. But just what he was feeling at the moment. Joy. Maybe it was the gentleness of their union that brought it on not to mention left him so relaxed he could still smile.

"I will always love you. Always."

She slowed, her hips still as she rested against him. It was so perfect. So beautiful and natural, her eyes drifting open to look up at him. There were so many things in her face. Love, joy, relaxation, comfort. She felt all of those things in his arms, and even more now that he had given her what she had wanted all along.

"I will always love you. Forever."

He rested his forehead against hers, the feelings not to strong to take but he wanted so much to share them all with her, knew he was, they were.. sharing everything. In that moment he opened himself to her, no defenses. He had not had any before, but now he opened his mind to hers, answering her with thoughts rather than words.

*Forever*

She almost started to cry again. She loved him, in that moment, closer to him than she had ever been with anyone else. Her arms around him, she felt his mind with hers, asking to be let in. She let him in, offering him that same gentle sharing of her mind into his. She shivered, her body pressed so gently into his.

*Thank you. Forever, my love.*

He let her in gladly, had already been open to her and he shivered as he felt her shar with him. It was a profound moment, powerful and special beyond any he could think of. They had found a blending of each other on all levels, and his entire body starting to shake softly a strnage but true moment of electricity and pleasure and peace.

She leaned her head forward, toward his. Resting her forehead, they were truly one. Mind, heart, body and soul, they were one. So often, they would make love and it would be the two of them trying to come together, to be one. But they always managed to be close, but not quite together as one. So it was no different now, her body shivering in the memory of pleasure, then her eyes drifted closed. They were truly together. Truly one. The realization was almost more than she could bear. So she held him, truly one for the very first time.

He felt her hold him, felt her thoughts, felt the shiver that echoed his own. They were touching in so many places, in so many ways, on so many levels that when he shivered, if he wondered if he was reacting to her body, or the touch of her body. Or to something else entirely. He really had no idea.

And he did not care. All that mattered was that they were together, they were one. As they had never been. And he wondered if they would reach this level of oneness always from now on.. one could only hope.

There was no doubt from her. Not now. Maybe he could feel and fully realize just how much she had wanted this from him, and for such a long time. She wasn't policing her thoughts, which could have been both good and bad. She had wanted it for so long, each time there had been another -- for him or for her -- she had been forced to push it away, push away the hurt and the insecurity. And now... that was no more. She was his, truly his, and he was hers. For the first time, he was truly hers.

He may have felt that from her. Or maybe he didn't. She didn't keep it out of her mind, that's for sure. The unfortunate part of being so open, and so happy, so fully relaxed was that she hadn't had to share her mind. Her mind was her own, her thoughts and feelings her own. She was truly and completely overjoyed. The sense of peace was wonderful, the sense that she would, no more, have to share him. It created a peace, a joy within her that she never had let herself feel.

It felt good to feel no doubt from the woman he loved, no fear. He could feel all her emotions open to him. he was as open to her as well, letting her see all of him. together.

He could feel how much she wanted this, but he had known from that first day she had wanted a mate, someone of her own. What he had not known was the pain, the depth of it every time. He had known something bothered her , seen it more and more, the need, the pain. She had refused to say what, refused to tell him less she changed him. but he could see her pain. He had not known the depth of it but he was not completely surprised either.

It did not bother him. At all. He was hers and if she found joy in it, so did he. He found a fear of his own was gone too, that someone will honestly fall in love with her and she would go to them. for whatever reason. So many fell for her and he knew sex and love were so connected to her.

But no more fear. No more worry. There was only them.

It was only the two of them. Nothing on this world or any other could tear them apart. She knew that now. She felt it, like a wave of comfort that washed over her, a warm blanket that surrounded her. No pain, no doubt, no fear. There was nothing now except the two of them. Nothing but the love between them, the togetherness. There was nothing that could keep them apart now.

She started to tremble, to shake with the force of it. But it was still somehow gentle, as if the trembling only gave proof to what she already felt. Already knew. Her body welcomed him, her mind, her heart. Her soul. All of it was his now, to do with as he wished. And his belonged to her, to hold and to protect, to cherish and to keep safe always. Even as she trembled, shaking with the force of their union, she started to smile.

Nothing between them. Love pulling them together. He felt her shake and tremble giving in and filling her. It did not feel like anything as crass as physical as an orgasm. It was something else entirely and he felt himself giving into it at the same time. It was joy. It was trust. It was love. It was everything they both wanted and deserved happening at one time as they both became one as much as any two individuals could.

She smiled, as honestly and open as she could. He in his honesty and openness, did not so much smile as was filled with peace. His face was...peaceful.

Soft words finally came from her, quiet and peaceful in their own right.

"Yours. Always. Thank you. I...I think...I needed this."

He smiled to her and kissed her gently.

"Which part did you need? Or was it the whole?"

She smiled.

"All of it."

He smiled.

"So much just happened. And yet it seems like it was the simplest thing in the world now. Would I sound silly if I told you I loved you?"

She shook her head and smiled at him.

"Never sound silly when you say that."

He reached up to hold her head, carressing her cheeks in either hand.

"I love you."

She slipped her arms around him, looking up at him with another gentle smile.

"And I love you."

He smiled.

"Does it... feel right? Was it enough?"
