"You were with them all of your life?" she asked hesitantly, giving his hand a reassuring squeeze as she walked out into the water slowly.

He nodded.

"I was. But I was also taken by the circus at an early age."

"Aubrey... I am sorry, "she said softly stepping forward to wrap her arms around him, pulling him close to her in an embrace. The ocean's water up to about their hips now, it swirled around them were they stood, gently lapping against the shore line behind them. Teagan listened to his heart beat as she rested her head against his chest while hugging him.

His heartbeat was steady, though it seemed to come a little faster when she pulled him into the embrace with her. He smiled at her, giving her a gentle kiss.

"It's all right, Teagan. I'm free now."

Her lips were gentle and caring against his, everything her gaze had been a moment before. Looking up at him she smiled, "How are your nights of freedom, the ones I don't get to share with you?" she asked one arm snaking around his waist the other reaching up to push his hair from his face. Her eyes showing him, her appreciation for his beauty as they held a subtle heat.

He brushed his hand over her cheek, smiling into her eyes. There was a subtle adoration there, his arm strong against her as he held her to him.

"Glorious. They're better with you, though."

She smiled at his reply, gently brushing back and forth against the front of him, twisting and turning almost absently. "Is there anything you want for... or need?" she asked. Her gaze never leaving his, her tone leaving it unclear just exactly what she might be referring too.

He smiled but shook his head.

"No. I just wish I could see you more."

He blushed, shyly looking at her and it was clear that if he could have shuffled his feet, he would have been.

"Yes."

Going up on tip toe, she kissed him gently before pulling away, "Maybe..." her sentence died on her lips, and she shook her head. "Better not, no, my situation is very... difficult." she said softly.

He accepted the kiss, but he wouldn't let go of her.

"No, tell me. Please, Teagan?"

"I don't want to hurt you..." she said softly her eyes spoke to a caring that she didn't really express.

"But we haven't really talked about the definition for what this is..." she said softly motioning between the two of them.

His brows rose.

"Teagan, nothing you can say will hurt me."

"I don't believe in only belonging to one person." she said softly. Her eyes watching his face to see if he understood her meaning.

He tilted his head, frowning just slightly.

"Freedom means that you do not belong to anyone at all... doesn't it?"

She smiled nodding her agreement, hoping this would be easier then she had originally thought, "I have another lover, other then you." she said softly.

He frowned again, but his question was somewhat of a necessary one.

"Does this mean... you do not wish to see me? Or is it that you don't want him to know about me?"

She frowned at the question, "It doesn't mean either or, he knows I have other lovers. That and I love our time together... but this between us is still so new." she said her fingers caressing his cheek, her other tracing along his hip.

"Do you understand my desire... to take this slow?" she asked her eyes look up into his with a desirous yearning.

He tilted his head. Then he sighed and reached up to run his fingers through her hair.

"Teagan, I have no interest in upsetting your life. I am not a stalker, I will not come for you unless you wish it or unless there is an emergency. We can take things as slow or as fast as you need."

She looked relieved about his sentiments.... "Given time, I would like for you to meet Luke, if you would be comfortable." she said softly, almost shy about the idea.

He seemed to be pondering that one.

"If you would like for me to meet him, I would love to."

"Maybe even come and live with us..." she said softly.

"That is we have a house, with many rooms, a large property on the beach....." her eyes glance away as if she feels shy about this thought. An amazing turn around from the woman who was so forward in so many other ways.

He laughed softly.

"We would have to see about that. I would not want to make you uncomfortable."

She shakes her head biting her lip, "I find the idea.. exciting. You are special, I have never invited others to live with me before." she said softly eyes finding his for him to understand just how much she did care.
